I also thought that having the first slot of the day would solve the late problem, but again they were late after I took off the morning for the move.
If you have lots of time to spare, use Allstate movers. Otherwise find someone else.

Checked with the Better Business Bureau before reserving our move, and Allstate was highly rated. I now know why. Would not hesitate to recommend.
