Their portions are HUGE and you can almost always take some home with you. I guess that is why the prices are so high. If you factor in that youre basically paying for two meals the prices are not too bad...

Read More On Citysearch ChRu 1/26/2010 - Fun social placeFun, social atmosphere. Live music really adds to the environment, and you can get a special spot on the wall if you order a certain amount of different kinds of brews (which you get signed off on!). It's definitely fun collecting them all.
I love the outfits and unique feel of this place.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it's a bit pricey and the food quantities are small.

What we got was good honest german food with some atmosphere. Which is really good for the Plano area given a relatively small German population.
PROS: Many varieties of European Beers
CONS: Staff need more training to support the atmosphere.

The food they serve is very authentic and they have a wide variety of German food to choose from. The lunch specials are inexpensive and the dinner rates can range from expensive to reasonable. The waitstaff is always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
