personally i had worked there for nearly 3 years.. unfortunatelly i was let go for absolutely no reason at all. the management there was unreasonable and very very unprofessionally run. working there this long i have to say that NOTHING there is freshly made, everything is frozen weeks (sometimes months) in advance. well...not including the %70 of the product that is shipped into the store in box...

The Pennsylvania Bakery has a huge assortment of sweets. They also bake a lot of delicious fresh bread too. Whenever I need a little sweet snack for myself or I want to take some breakfast into work, I always go here. Everything is always good and fresh. They make the moistest cakes too.

Their strawberry cake's and Italian rum cakes are legendary and with good reason, they are simply wonderful. Many people around here use them for birthday's, wedding's and many other parties. This is the place to go if you want the better basics.

For my daughter's 3rd birthday she wanted a Dora cake and I called them right before closing time and they had it ready for my the next day as promised. It was very fancy with airbrushed type frosting and a Dora car with track toy on top. All this for about $20.00 and one hppy little girl. A+++++

Aside from the fabulous cakes, cookies,breads and other assorted pastries, there is a cute little coffee area with comfy seating. I enjoy stopping in on Saturday mornings to have a cappucino and a pastry. I have always found the staff to be quite polite. Perhaps they are a bit too busy to be called friendly but I always get what I need in a reasonable amount of time.

aLL I HAVE TO DAY ABOUT THIS PLACE IS I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE. THE SALES CLERKS ARE RUDE AND ANSTY AND THE BAKERY PRODUCTS ARE VERY EXSPENSIVE. VERY TASTY BUT AWFUL SERVICE!!!
