I live in Virginia and when my mother was at the nursing home right around the corner for Aiello's Pizza, I had lunch there twice. I just loved the Florentine Pizza. The dough is wonderful. It's a little pricey, but worth the cost. Now every time I'm on the turnpike driving by the Monroeville exit, I'm tempted to take a side trip and get some pizza from Aiello's.
When you spend money at a restaurant the least you can expect is to be treated with a degree of civility, after all you are the reason the place is in business. A trip to Aiello's will leave a reasonable person spinning. If you can believe it, the inexperienced people working there treat the business like a hobby, complete with the childish behavior one could expect at a high school cafeteria. The...
I had been told by so many people to goto Mineos, so I did. I read a review of Mineos and saw someone said to stop by Aiello's too, so I did. Glad I did. Aiello's is a sad looking sterile pizzeria. It's vey different from vincent's, but I ...
Despite what many Pittsburghers believe, Aiellos has one of the best pizzas in the city. The perfect combination. It has no atmosphere, but the pizza makes up for it.
A friend turned us on to Aiellos and we loved it! The perfect pizza - not too much sauce or cheese and great fresh
toppings. Only down side is they don't deliver but it's worth the pick up!
Open late, cool guys behind the counter, and the best tasting pizza around make this spot a must visit for anyone in the 'Burgh. Try their hot peppers!
Listen, if anyone on planet earth knows good Pizza, it's yours truly. In my line of work I've been to italy several times where some of the best Pizza on the planet is to be had. Aiellos compares to some of the best Pizza Italy has to offer. Made the same way! Been going to Aiello's since he started the business over 25 yrs ago. The owner is the same guy who was the main Pizza maker at Mineos whe...
