My sole reason for going is the texas size pina colada, and the bbq chicken which is so tender it falls off the bone. My only issue with BBQ's is the waiting.

Dallas BBQ is rather a caricature of itself, especially since it's so odd to find this sort of establishment in NYC. But the drinks are huge, the food is huge, and sometimes it's just what you're in the mood for.

Dallas BBQ is probably my favorite restaurant to stop at when we are in the City. They have terrific food at a great price - a bargain price considering the prices of other places not as good in NYC.

The BBQ ribs are fantastic, as are the BBQ Brisket platters. Rarely a wait for seating, and the food preparation is quick.

I have yet to order something on the menu I haven't enjoyed. There is no place else in the city that you can walk out this satisfied without emptying your wallet. PS - You can get a whole roasted chicken for $4.99 if you do takeout or delivery!
