"Little" things mean a lot sometimes I was here Monday evening.. and had a blast... food was good, the bartender and waitress were very nice. Kareoke was fun too! the lounge area where they have it is small and cozy and happened to be a little empty, which kinda made it feel like it was just us for a while. The deal was $1 per song, which was a tip for the dj, which was fine and actually a reasonable price in comparison with some ... Read More On Citysearcha_commentor 7/30/2009
I will definitely keep going back. You can chose anything, everything is consistently good. The penne primavera was glorious. AND the service is fun and friendly. Read More On Citysearchalbert23 2/20/2009
Food, Fun & Karaoke I highly recommend Asia Roma. A nice selection of food that's served by a friendly and attentive waitstaff. They also have karaoke downstairs. There were plenty of songs to choose from and we stayed for quite sometime. We had a blast at Asia Roma and would go back again. Read More On Citysearchjuliefun 1/18/2009
STOP!! I am very disappointed with the place, nothing special about it. The food is not that great, its very tasteless and not everyone have their food at once, i end up watching my friends having their entree. I have no ideas what the wait staff is tring to say to me when i asked about my entree. This was my first time there and last time, don't expect me to go back again. Would not recommend anyone t... Good Food, Good Service Asia Roma serves a good variety of food. For my wife who likes Italian, she can have fettuccini or chicken parm. I'm not big on Italian so there is sesame beef or salmon. The staff at Asia Roma is also very friendly. Oh yeah, good drinks too. Read More On Citysearchalisonhjk 9/27/2008

Asia Roma!! I've been to Asia Roma a few times and I love the fact that I can order very different types of food in the same restaurant and both cuisines are delicious. The staff is always friendly and helpful and it's a great place for an after work drink. Gotta love Asia Roma! Read More On CitysearchTyFx2 5/3/2008

Yes slow server for a restaurant....but think of it as a full bar then its not that bad I have to agree that the kitchen service of this place is very slow and it does take a long time to get food out and totally under staff in the kitchen. The food is pretty good, not just OK pretty good. The price for their drinks are great. I had a party of 10 there for drinks and some bar food and snacks, the whole bill was until $300 including tips. And we had ALOT of drinks and plates after pl... Not worth it! The staff was wonderful but it took a whole hour before our food was served to us. The food was cold and not that good. Though the staff was friendly, they were more attentive to the party downstairs. Did not enjoy our experience here! Read More On Citysearchvford40 4/13/2007

Good food and friendly atmosphere I recently had a get together at this restaurant and felt compelled to share my satisfaction with my overall experience. Its a cozy place that I hope is around when I visit New York again. The servers were attentive and the food was prompt and quick. The karoake room was fun. I'm glad my friends and I discovered it. I would recommend to anyone. Read More On Citysearchscottibab 12/22/2006
Best food in Chinatown I love this restaurant. Not one bad experience. The decor is excellent. I love the staff. The food is great. The owner is wonderful. I can't complain a bit. My only wish is that I lived closer so that I could eat there more often.

Hip Atmosphere This place is the real deal! The true New Yorkers know to come to this downtown fixture in the old Five Points hood on Mulberry Bend. A cool mix of chinatown chicks, lower east side hipsters, karaoke kids and the crew from the NY State Supreme Court (think Law & Order) right next door are all in attendence for this non-stop party. The awesome Italian cuisine is delicioso so you can keep up you... Read More On Citysearcheddo57 12/7/2006

Pleasure Just as music accentuates a film but doesn't detract from the whole, so is the atmosphere of this fine restaurant. Between the attentive service, diverse menu and food which excels the dining pleasure is complete. A great meal is one of the few rewards in life and Asia Roma delivers! Thank you!!!

Great little niche restaurant/bar! My friends and I happened to stumble upon this place one night and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was great and the menu had a nice variety of dishes and was not pretentious in the way that "asian fusion" restaurants tend to be. We got sauced on drinks from the bar (I highly recommend that leechee martini!) and then went downstairs for karaoke! This is a nice, cozy little place that I... Nice Drinks, good menu Awesome little place on Mulberry Street. Everything I have tried off the menu has been great, but I go for the drinks more than anything. They have a good little drink menu (litchee martini is awesome), the ambiance is nice and cozy, and the location is conveniently close to the Canal Street Station. A great place for after work drinks. Read More On Citysearchvariante 11/6/2006
Great Customer Service ! I always have a very enjoyable time here. The food is is wonderful, service is great. I never had a bad dinner here. I look forward to their daily specials. Number One Restaurant in Chinatown! Asia Roma is an affordable spot to meet, relax, and party, while dining on something far different than the regular Chinatown fare. During the day, I like it for business meetings. Judges and attorneys from the nearby courthouses sit in their spruced-up main room, while sun pours in through the front window. At night, the restaurant fills up with the after-work crowd, as Chinatown political ty... Read More On Citysearchstevedecastro 10/17/2006
WE WERE WELL SERVED ! We just love this place. just decided to book another christmas party here, 3rd year in a row. food is great, service attentive, AND THE PRICES HAS NOT GONE UP ! food is always fresh and you can tell it's cooked to order (not sitting around at room temperature) Great value for your money. A Pending Failure! I think the biggest problem with this place is their system of serving. With one chef and a bad serving system, as the waiter told me at the end of the night, the chef completes everything for a table before he starts working on the next table. That means that if you end up walking in after 2 or 3 other groups, you have to wait until each of those other groups have gotten everything from appetize... Read More On Citysearchgetgoing 9/30/2006
I simply loved it. I've been visiting Asia Roma regularly, and finally decided to write a review for it. What can I say about this place; great food, great service, great karaoke. The karaoke system may seem a tad outdated. But boy, do I really sound like a star when I'm in Asia Roma.

Italian????? I Jumped off the bridge on this one. I decied to try thier Italian Food and was very disapointed. I should have just bought a jar of sauce and some dried pasta. I would have been happier. Maybe the chinese food was better but I did not see anything on the main menu. The place was a bit loud as well because of the Karoke in the Basement. Very Disappointed Decided to hold a B-Day party here based on the "Citysearch" ranking of one of the top group destinations. Let's just say that whoever took the pictures for the website must have been a Photoshop pro!! This place was dingy and had a "dirty" feel to it. The service was terrible!! Terrible Service We went there with two friends from out of town, it took 45 for the appetizers to be brought out and even then only one came out the other was brought with our entrees all of which came out at different times. The food was passable but nothing special, the atmosphere was dank at best, and when we informed the manager about the poor service he didnt seem to care. Read More On Citysearchanngabby 2/22/2006

Had a Great Party ! Came here for a party and had such a good time I later wind up booking one for my boyfriend's birthday. It's not often that you can have a very enjoyable dinner and party all night. We all enjoyed the food so much. And the singing and dancing afterwards was absolutely the best time we've had. Doesn't honor reservations! After making a reservation for my sister's bday party 2 weeks IN ADVANCE, I get a call from the restaurant 4 days before the date saying they can't accommodate me since they have another party coming in for the same time - would I like to move my dinner 2 hours before the time I wanted or 1.5hrs after? GREAT We were delightfully surprise at the food this hide away place. Everything tasted amazingly fresh, very flavorful. We didn't think the Italian flair of it would match up, but it was better than the food in Littly Italy, which we normally go to.
