The trade off is the price. It is around 25 bucks per person with a two drink minimum. Depending on the show, it is usually packed. The seating is tight.

Every time I'm in New York I go there. I've seen Jim Norton, Colin Quinn, Robert Kelley, Patrice O'Neal, Dov Davidoff, and Ben Bailey among others. I've never had a bad night there. You get to see a lot of comics working on new material. It's a great atmosphere and the upstairs is also a great place to hang.

The AC was on high so it was pretty cold but it was key since it's a smoking and non-smoking crowd. The line-up was great and all of the comedians were terrific. We went for the early show and ended up paying and staying for the late show. Great time!!
