My husband and I have been dining at Three of Cups for years and have always had a great meal. There are a variety of great Italian meals to choose from. WOW!!

Went here with a group of girls for a birthday dinner recently and it was just awful. My friends reservation was never taken, so we waited an hour or more. Great Surprise in this place!
This restaurant took me by suprise. I expected a half-decent meal but it was much more. Santo, one of the owners is a gracious host who knows excellent food. I had the skate fish- it was roasted perfectly, very fresh. Delicious. My dining companion had the whole-wheat pasta putanesca. Amazing! The homemade cheesecake was great too. I'll be back soon!

worth a try
Super delicious food and a great atmosphere. The Pizza Contadina is very delicious. Meatballs were very well prepared. The portions are not very big, but the flavor definitely makes up for it. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a good experience.

They say three's a charm!
The first time i ate there was with some actor friends of mine. Great pizza and italian food. It is a bit unorthodox from the usual N.Y. pizza places but than again this is cuisine not take out but i think you can order out . Nice ambiance with brick walls and from what i saw las time i was there the lounge is the place to be if you are a socialite. Plenty of drinks women and entertainment.

I have been going here for 5 years and it is still amazing! This is my go to Friday night happy hour and pizza place. The staff is always helpful and the food no matter pizza, pasta, soup is always great. I have NO complaints about this place!

The Three of Cups restaurant was a reall find. My buddy told me to go and check them out if I wanted real Italian pasta. So my favorite dish is the Zuppa di Pesce, different kinds of sea food on pasta. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I heard that this place had been in the EV for the last 15 years and decided to try it out. Unfortunately I was really disappointed. The meatballs were cold on top of bland marinara. Salad and Pizza in one rocks! Graet group party spot!
This place is the best for a party. The pizza with arugla, fresh tomatoes, olives and mozzarella is crisp on the dges and full of flavor. One of the best I have ever had. The sangria kills. Three of Cups is not just a pizza place. Although whenever I go I tend to order at least one small pie, the place has great dishes all around. A Cool Relaxed Scene Coupled with Delicious Pizza

Unimpressive
This restaurant does not deserve it's high rating at all! The food is okay, but the service is TERRIBLE. Also, the music is extra loud so if you like quiet dining, don't even think about going to eat at this restaurant. I will NEVER eat there again!

Terrific!~
Three of Cups is another one of my must try restaurants! The food is fabulous. You have to try their pasta dishes. It is wonderful. The crowd is pleasing. The atmosphere is relaxing. overall experience was great. Happens to be one of my favorite restaurants...so I suggest everyone should give it a try. It doesn't hurt to try! =)

Watering Tastebuds
I hosted a small party in the back room and everything turned out great. The service was excellent and the entire staff was so accommadating and friendly. The food is so tasty and the pizza out of this world. What a great experience. Looks like good brunch menu too.

Perfect Unplanned Evening
My boyfriend and I came here when we walked by it the other night. It was a wonderful dinner! The menu has a wide variety of Italian food and a large brick oven pizza menu. There are also calzone, ravioli, risotta specials of the day. The wine is cheap, the beer is cold. Wonderful.

...maybe I am a little biased because I live nearby. But I also live by many other Italian places on 2nd Ave, and 4th which don't live up to this place. Three of Cups is not only a great place for a larger group of people it is great for just a romantic twosome or even with your children!! The staff is so attentive and friendly. Great Group Experience
I was in charge of planning a group dinner for one of my clubs at NYU. We went to Three of Cups, which was just a 15 minute walk from campus. favorite place
We've been coming here for over 4 years and consider it pretty much our favorite place in the city, having spent many New Year's Eves, birthdays and just regular casual dinners here. It's great with 12 people or just with 2. The food is delicious and what's more, the staff and the overall ambiance make you feel like it's home, even if it's your first time through the doors. whenever my friends and i want to go somewhere laid back with pretty consistent food, this is the place we always go to. not to mention that you can smoke at the outside dining area. although the pizzas are not always consistent, overall its a good place to meet up with friends for a good and cheap meal.

Rude Staff

Three times the fun
This resturant is great for big groups. I went with 16 others and we had great food and good service for a very reasonable price. Plus, the music they were playing was amazing. Cheap, yes. Great, not by a long shot...
3oC, is a nice bar and a nice place to hang out, but this is a poor excuse for good food. Its a good thing its dark, so you can't see how bad your dinner is. I am continuously amazed at how some places on citysearch get rated so accurately, and then a place like 3oC gets on the "Best of" list. Go figure...

Thin crusted wood fired oven pizza.
I've been going to 3 of Cups since it opened. It's not the kinda place you run in and get a slice. It's sit down pizza. The non-pizza menu is excellent as well. I love the shrimp and pesto pizza especially. Thin crusted wood fired oven pizza.

Drink it, don't eat it.

Great Happy Hour, Great Wine
I was there Saturday night with some of my friends. The happy hour was great, $3 glasses of GREAT WINE. The bartender was great and sweet, not your usually NYC snobby attitude behind the bar. The WORST service
I love the food at 3 of Cups. It has rarely let me down. But, the service is simply the worst. Don't go there! Order in (they deliver) and the food arrives faster, fresher and with a smile. Go to the restaurant and you'll be disappointed.

although the food is good, the service is terrible. we had to ask for the check four times and they had a problem with our friend who showed up late and just nobbled on some bread. they took the bread away from him! how cheap! especially after our table of 5 had 6 bottles of wine and a full dinner. I am at a loss to understand the praise and high rating for this restaurant. I went to Three of Cups once and would never go again. Worth the Trip
When you want the best thin-crust pizza in town and a good selection of salads and pastas, Three of Cups is hard to beat. It's worth going out of your way for. I think nothing of schlepping from Lincoln Center after an event all the way to the East Village for a visit to Three of Cups, even though it's not on the way home.

Best in the Village
