The day we went we had to wait for ever the lines were out the door and the service was awful. We will never go there again. There are other places in the area much better . It has got the name thats it.

Avoid this place
Had lunch at Brown's today; 6-17-08. It could not have been worse. My fried food was very greasy. The onion rings were so greasy I could see them glisten in the light. They were not edible. My wife's haddock had to have been previously frozen as it was mushy and watery. She could not eat the french fries because the water from the haddock had soacked in. The best fried food batter
There are only a few places that makes fried food good and this is one of them. A very light batter. Brown's is a no frill's Lobster and steamers place, place your order, get a number, a find yourself a picnic table inside or out on the deck overlooking a salt marsh.
