- Dream weekend for sure!We were exhausted from flying into the Albany airport. The hotel picked us up and assisted with our bags. I couldn't have been happier with my stay when we got to the room. The four poster king bed was great. The hotel is very close (next door) to the Albany airport.

I've been at several meetings and conferences at the Desmond. Their meeting room facilities are beautiful, the food is always wonderful, and the service excellent. I would definitely recommend this for any event!

Read More On Citysearch Citysearch User 1/7/2009 - ExceptionalThis is considered one of Albany's most elegant hotel and conference center. I attended a dinner/ dance here and it was exceptional. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. The interior of the place is set up like a n outside courtyard and is very neat looking. It would be an excellent place to wedding receptions or other gatherings.
