  5. Great, fresh sushi
I live close by and have now been to Fuji twice. Both times, I've gone for the sushi, which is served in a seperate area than the noisy habachi room. Even though it is seperate, however, there is no real physical barrier so the noise can carry. On a recent Friday night, the sushi area was not too croweded, but there were some very noisy crowds in the habachi area. Both times I've been to Fuji...

  7. Fuji Hibachi Sushi & Steak House is A MUST!
Don't let the location stop you from going to this incredibly excellent restaurant. The decor, the service and the food are superb. We keep thinking about the preparation of the food and the food itself and want to go back everyday! Don't let this restaurant close up due to not stopping because the parking lot is empty - check it out and pass the word to everyone!

  9. My Favorite Sushi
Very little alterations made to the external presentation of from when it was an OCB. We were curious and went in, it is lovely inside. Immediately the management sought to make our experience the best possible. Initially I was a little confused by being asked for an alcohol order upon entry, though I think because it was a very quiet Wednesday night he was also acting bartender and sought to exp...

  10. Worth checking out-good place
My parents live in Shoreline and we were trying to find a place to celebrate mine and my dad's birthdays (we are a day apart) and I wanted to have steak. My dad suggested Fuji and all I could think of was the horrible OCB that had been there for years, but after I read the reviews on here, I decided to try it out. Good choice! The food was really great and Hibachi style cooking is perfect fo...

  11. Definitely have to check it out!
We went to lunch on a Saturday and we are happy to say that there's a hibachi restaurant that's affordable and does not skimp on the serving, service and not to mention the food. Delicious filet mignion, shrimp, salmon and scallops...fried rice and veggies! Great waitress and show! I heard good things from my coworkers in Shoreline and my family were extremely pleased. We will definitely retu...

  12. Pleasant Find
A new restaurant i thought we would take a chance on and to my extreme delight Fuji turned out to be a top notch operation. The habachi table experience was great with all the usual knife and spatula displays ,somewaht corny jabber, but the food was prepared well and the atmosphere was great considering this used to be a Country Buffet joint. The impression that first trip left was good enough f...

  13. Great Japanese Restaurant in Shoreline!
We decided to try Fuji as we live just a couple miles away and we're always looking for new places to eat without having to travel downtown or the eastside. Our son's favorite resaurant is Tokyo's in Woodinville (also Tepan style), but after tonight's dinner, he actually said that he prefers Fuji. We were pleasantly surprised once we walked in the door. The decor is very nice. Hardwood (pergo...

  14. A Beacon of Light on Aurora!?
My wife and I were lamenting the commute to find good Japanese food when you live in North Seattle. By chance, we saw an advertisement online for Fuji's and thought we'd do a drive by - I mean it IS on Aurora after all. But, we pulled in to the parking lot and decided we were up for an adventure. We entered and found Fuji's a very clean and tastefully decorated place to eat. We were promptly se...
