This is one of my favorite spots for great-tasting Chinese food. I eat here 3-4 times a month! Everything on the menu is flavorful, service is prompt, and food preparation is quick. I've taken people who thought they didn't like "Chinese food" here before and they loved it. You won't be disappointed.
I just visited the Seafood Palace for the first time and joined citysearch just so that I could rave about it. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly, quick, and personable. It's everything you could ask for in a restaurant. The prices are fair, worth every penny. I would not recommend the plum wine because it is far too sweet for my taste. However, any seafood or beef dish will b...
This place has always been a very good place to go but this past time we went, it was lacking. Food was bland and only luke warm. They are now serving a buffet. I don't know if management has changed but they have lost some of their edge. I just hope it doesn't become a typical chinese buffet restaurant.
Seafood Palace is the most consistent restaurant on Eat Street (Nicollet Ave.) in Minneapolis. I work in the area, and this is the restaurant I take people to when I want to impress them (and not spend a bundle). I have been eating there for probably 15 years, and I've never had a mediocre meal.
The luncheon buffet and specials are excellent and always perfect. The chicken wings on the buf...
I love Chinese food and I have eaten at a lot of different Chinese restaurants and I think that the Seafood Palace is one of the best in the Twin Cities. The food is very good and consistent (I've never had a bad meal there). When dining with friends who want Chinese for dinner, I always suggest the Seafood Palace. Their prices are very reasonable. The staff is attentive. The decor is pleasi...
My husband & I have been to Seafood Palace at least four times, each time with a new set of friends (and some repeat customers) - and we haven't been disappointed once! Everything from the lobster soup shared by the whole table to the sweet, fresh oranges served at the end has always been well prepared, fresh & served by a courteous, knowledgeable server. Our favorites are salt & pepper seafood...
I would not recommend this restaurant as their service is really screwed up. Waiter did not even serve the water at the start. He took our order after 15 mins. Event the food quality was not that good and prices were quite high for that kind of quality. Taste of the food was ok kind of and i would suggest not to go to this place ever.
I think this restaurant is an above-average chinese restaurant. Some of their dishes are better than others, but everything is pretty decent. If you don't want to take a chance, get the buffet that they always have and find something you like. As for being authentic, they are as authentic as the next chinese restaurant, so what are you complaining about? I mean, fortune cookies were invented ...
