When we purchased a home, I called to ask for a price quote to have 6 doors re-keyed. I was given a price of $39.39 service call, plus $15-$25 per door.
This appears to be a "dispatch service" to a large group of locksmiths - NOT employees that come to your house.
The key I was given didn't work so the tech had to pick the first lock, an extra charge of $35 and I had no dispute with that...
