Roggies is the kind of place you want to bring your friends when they come to visit. The food is great, especially the pizza, and the staff is friendly. Roggie's owner can frequently be found at the door greeting customers even on the busiest night. As a Boston College grad, my friends have continued to attend Roggies for sporting events and gatherings.
I have always been fond of the pizza at Roggie's. I've lived in the general vacinity of the restaurant for 3 years now and order probably once to twice a month. In the past 6 months they have failed to deliver pizza to me (or my roommates) about 3-4 times with no explanation or apology. Ive called to follow up a number of times on each occurance and I'm always assured its coming.

I ate here with a friend from BC about a year ago, and the experience was highly enjoyable. This restaurant is a microcosm of college life in Boston. Loud music, delicious high calorie foods, an extremely cute waitresses. They had no trouble seating a table of about 7-8 people, so party size is not an issue.
While my dining experience is somewhat limited around Boston College, this is one of t...
Roggies Pizza place is not the best pizza in boston --it does not have good food-- what is it?? well its a place where a special animal comes out for a late night snack--the animal I speak of has no known natural preditors and only comes out after dark.. Its known in many parts as the FELINE BOSTONIAN --AKA the boston cougar . The animal can been seen in college towns across mass but thrives in ...
The pizza here is pretty good. I have ordered from here on multiple occasions and have tried many different toppings. The pizza is definitely better than some, but not the best.
Overall: A better than average pizza for an average price!!
PROS: A better than average pizza for an average price!!
CONS: Not the best of options in the area
I don't think I'd ever go when BC is in session, but it's great on a weeknight. Lots of beers on tap, lots of games to watch. . . and the game console at the bar has ex rated Photo Hunt! A great place for a chill night with friends. . . in the summer, that is.
Roggie's Pizzeria is a local hangout for the Boston College crowd. They offer reasonably priced beer and food to fit the needs of college students. The food runs from pizza to hamburgers and what you would expect at a college hang out.
It's a typical local pizza place. There's a small tv and some tables to dine in. RIght next to bus stop. You won't be disappointed.
PROS: Above Average Pizza for Relatively Cheap Price
CONS: Nothing spectacular
Nothing special, but the food is good and the prices are reasonable. Great location in Clevveland Circle.
