Roggie's is a great place to grab a beer before heading to the Boston College games. They have the largest selection of beers around including Magic Hat #9 (my fave) and they have awesome drink specials. I also like all of the TV's so if you stay for another round you can watch the game on one of many TV's.
I can't even begin to count the number of times I've gone to Roggie's for lunch when I was living in Brighton. There's nothing like waking up after a night of heavy drinking, and working off your hangover with a beer at the Roggie's bar.
It's a decent bar but there isn't anything really special or noteworthy about it. Boston has tons of this scene, the totally approachable bar that attracts college kids, that is great fun if you are 20 and when you are 30, well not so much.
I've been twice to Roggie's and had positive experiences both times. The service wasn't the best; however, the atmosphere was fun and food was great. It's a great hang out for college students and 20-year-olds. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend it!
Roggies Brew and Grille has a freindly and fun atmosphere where you can always find the food satisfying! They open at 11am every day which suits my hangovers very well...especially on weekends....where theyll serve you a complimentary mimosa with any brunch order.
Their wing special from 4-7pm is the best in town...ive never had better wings at any other restaurant. Oh yeah, they even serve ...
Who cares about their food, the value, the atmosphere. The bottom line is this place has the worst customer service. Time and time again the Roggie's staff have proven themselves to be racially prejiduced and their treatment of customers of minority descent is terrifying. Yelling "Chinatown in the house" because Asian customers are present is unacceptable. I went once with my boyfriend and we...
Roggies is ok.
The DJ is boring and the staff are mainly women out of magazines... I didnt like it that much. The food was good.

Roggie's can be a student haven, but don't let that scare you away. Their menu is more upscale than you think for a bar, but the prices are great. The atmosphere reflects its location between the C and B lines on the T, which gives it access to all trends of people. The staff is friendly and service is fast. Check this place out if you are in the area.
Excellent atmosphere. The best place to hang out for BU students. Prices aren't too expensive. Good food. Try their drinks.
Roggie's did extensive renovations and reopened as a restaurant with great atmosphere and excellent food and cocktails. Try the martinis at only $5. The cheese fries are also great.
This place is perfect for college students going out for a good time. There is often live music and/or karaoke night. It is a great time. Most people come and get a table and drink by the pitcher and possibly eat. The food is really quite good and they have a superb list of beers on tap.
