You can walk to great restaurants, and shops....also close but not walking distance to Hollywood & Santa Monica. I put my parents up here and they loved it. The hotel is one of a kind, there is nothing like it in LA. I would highly recommend it.
Read More On Citysearch pennylanes 2/16/2009 - I did not want to leave.....This is by far one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. We came in from NYC for a friends wedding, they recommended this as well as a few other hotels for guests. I was really impressed, the staff was so attentive, the rooms beautiful and the rooftop was the best suprise - of course it rained while we were in town so we didn't have a chance to really enjoy it.

The rooftop garden is the perfect place to sip a mimosa and take in the city views. The rooms are large, with high quality bedding and lots of charm.

This hotel is centrally located and they offer local rates so if you have family coming into town this is a good place to put them up. The service and accomodations are good but not great.
