Tonight we went to JP Seafood and FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW ordered a SPICY TUNA HANDROLL where the spice was OFF THE CHARTS. NOT GOOD!!!! NOT GOOD!!! We were drooling and our mouths were ON FIRE for a good half hour. AND obviously we could not even finish it. We LOVE sushi. The Omakase here is the best!!!!!! Great friendly Sushi Chefs, and servers. I also love their grilled fish dinners and Bibimbops. A Must Try: Scallion Pancake! YUMMMMM.. It's too bad that I don't live nearby, I would come here everyday.

Oh how I used to love this place!!!
But, geez....now that I'm a local and can't resist its convenience (location, location, location) I find that the food just isn't that great. In particular I'm referring to the maki/sushi....often the rice seems overly sour and always too firm (sitting too long is my best guess). In addition I've yet to order a "shrimp maki" where the shrimp feels fresh.....
