    I found most of the staff at times a bit pushy. While my eyes were corrected, I found the overall experience to be unpleasant.     don't let mandel near your eyes. he ruined mine. have to deal with the fact that mandel knew he should not have operated on my eyes. he downplayed the risks. dry eyes, halos, sensitive to light, glare, cant see at night are just horrendous and what is worse I can't correct. if you are short sighted you can wear glasses or contacts, nothing works for all of the above

    I am still in shock. I know of stories old and recent, and I must say I am truly pleased to know that I didn't have any problems. The very next day after the procedure, my vision has been perfect night and day. Dr. Mandel is THE best. When it comes to my eyes I will find him and I will follow him no matter where he is.     Dr. Mandel was recommended by my optometrist on whom Dr. Mandel performed Lasik. Therefore, I didn't shop around. I am very happy, better than 20/20 from almost blind with astigmatism. If you are considering the procedure, go with Dr. Mandel. If you need PRK, like me, just be patient--these people know what they are doing.
