  1. traditional all the way
Every thing served here is tradtional. Not a fusion. The breads are baked in tradtional clay oven. The rice is basmati indian rice. The curries are most flavorful.

  2. GREAT FOOD, GREAT Atmosphere
I love Indian food, having had difficulty in finding a good Indian restaurant in Boston, India Samraat sloved my problem when i discovered it 4 years back. I live in cambridge and travel all the way to Mass Ave to enjoy India Samraat food....Chiken Tikka is awesome, so is Biryani...i might have tried all their dishes in these years and everything tastes so good, not to tell of Naan and Samosa...G...

  4. YUCK! Avoid this Indian!!
I never take the time to write reviews, but this place is absolutely the WORST Indian restaurant. AVOID IT! I ordered quite a few things and they not only tasted bad (stale/old) they made my roommate sick. After seeing hair I refused to eat any of it beyond my initial tasting, and was spared. My order consisted of naan, flat and soggy, chicken tandoori 4 pieces of chicken that (literally) tast...

  5. Not a Buffet
This place has good indian food, but unlike another reviewer said- no buffet. The place by berklee and McDonalds that has a buffet is called Bombay Cafe.

  6. Traditional Indian Cuisine
This place somehow became a date staple for me in my college years. Not having ever tried much Indian food, India Samraat made it easy to enjoy. Decently priced for the portions and quality, each dish is elegantly prepared and fresh, and the service is great. I definitely recommend.

  7. good inexspensive indian food
I like India Samraat because it is so close to MIT. I must have ordered delivery from India Samraat nearly 100 times. They have a $20 minimum or something for delivery but most of the other Indian restaurants have an even higher minimum. The prices there are cheaper than most other Indian restaurants as well. They have your standard selections. I always end up with the Aloo Chole and some Samosas
