We try to go at least 1-2 times per month. Food is great, and you can go cheap (basic ravioli or spaghetti for ten bucks), or surf & turf or special menu item.
Rest assured that the price does NOT affect the taste of the food, it's great...and on the VERY rare occasion the food is not up to snuff (it happens everywhere)....the management is quick to fairly compensate without question.

This restaurant blew me away. Besides the regular menu , they have 52 additional menus (one every week) which feature the specialties of differnent regions of Italy. My family is from Abruzzo & I went when they feartured the specialties of my families regions & it was like I was transported back to my nonna's house. Home made "maccheroni alla chittara" & "scripple" crepe soup were my favorites....
The food here is the closest that I have found to eating in Italy. They have an additional menu each week (52 in all) that feature a certain Italian city's cuisine. I went during the Asti week & had the Agnolotti. Excellent! Waiter said the chefs are Italian & it shows. Great wine list also
The food is so over priced and bland. Probably to pay for the decoration. You know they don't even use garlic, and claim they are Italian. On one trip my mother had the warm crab cake which came out cold. She sent it back to get warmed up, and one of the owners brought it back and said that was how it was supposed to be, he was very rude about it. We also got drinks from the bar which we couldn't...
We stopped for lunch around 2:30pm on Saturday. It turns out we were given the dinner menu as I discovered today when visiting their Web site. The waitress was giving us the hard-sell on the more expensive items. We had pasta, paid more than we planned for lunch and left. The food was good but expensive for lunch. Basically, I don't like being taken. We probably won't be back.
I had many friends tell me how good this restaurant was & it certainly was a great experience. Went with my family & we were all impressed with the quality of the food & service. Our Server was very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is beautiful, like being in Italy
Beautiful Tuscan villa sets up the atmosphere at Toscana 52. Excellent regional Italian & surprisingly excellent service provides a great finish to the areas premier Italian restaurant. Go on the weekdays to avoid the crazy week-end crowds
The architecture of Toscana 52 alone is worth the trip. A huge Tuscan villa right on street road; Who would have imagined. The food is amazing, I love the 52 concept. I'm native Italian from Abruzzo & they made specialties like home spaghetti alla chitarra & scripelle. Wow! I haven't seen scripelle since I was in Abruzzo a few years ago.
A family style restaurant? Are you kidding me? It felt like it was owned by a Mussolini family. We got yelled at and pushed around 3 different tables. After that - the food didn't matter, but it was not good enough to justify the abuse. And - EXPENSIVE. AVOID!
Went to Toscana 52 on the reccomendation of a friend & was very impressed. They have a new menu each week which covers the cuisine & wine of an Italian or European city. It was very aithentic, I went during the Venice Carnevale week & they had Risi e bisi & Fegato alla Veneziana. Both dishes that I had when I was in Venice. Very Impressive. Deep Italian wine by the glass & bottle list. Toscana 5...
I must say this is my favorite restaurant. I enjoy the 52 menus each week as well as the crusted filets. They have a selection of crusts such as gorgonzola cheese, pepper mustard & wasbai that you can top your filet with. Dont miss dessert either.
I?ve had the shrimp over fresh linguini in a white sauce which was sweet and the seafood more fresh than what I can find at the grocery store. There is also a spectacular burger of Kobe beef filled with four cheeses. Some of the dishes too complicated for the casual diner and all of the dishes are titled in Italian, so one usually ends up pointing (but this does speak to the authenticity of the m...
Being Italian I am a pretty tough critic, but I am amazed by the quality of food here. The rotating weeky menus of different Italian cities are really authentic. This is a must visit!
Moderate prices, wonderful ambiance and decor, truly excellent food and top notch service. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I am an Italian American who has travelled the world since childhood. You can bet your last dollar that I know good food. If you are disappointed with Toscana 52 then you are probably someone you really likes the "all you can eat" Chinese buffet.
Before I went the...
I went there with 6 adults and one toddler. Everything was good, service was excellent (although my wife knew the waiter from several years ago, it didn't look like that was why the service was good). I really enjoyed the food. I would go back without hesitation.
I had the shrimp with steak kabob and it was excellent! The atmosphere is fancy, service good, however, it is a bit expensive. Although the dinners had great portions, the waiter recommended that my boyfriend and I should try the crab cheesecake appitizer, and it was barely enough for the two of us to split.
Very upscale restaurant with a nice selection of choices...did not like where we sat...beautiful decor...better with only one guest..I had 14 with crapped seating.. Some of the appetizers were lacking in size..not worth the cost..
We stopped at this restaurant after a recommendation by a friend and it was wonderful. Delicious food, absolutely beautiful decor with unique lighted tables, special raised tables and other surprises. The drink menu was extensive and the food was very, very good. Highy recommended for a special occasion or just a good meal.
I have dined here twice and both experiences were awesome. Nonna's special was my first meal and it was delicious. The ambiance is great and the food is presented
so regally. This is truly the best restaurant I have been to and tell everyone. Please continue the great service. This is the first time I have written to express my impression of any restaurant. Our waitress Carley was extremely...
This is by far the best Italian Restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is breathtaking, the food is consistantly fresh & delicious & the service is on the level of fine city restaurants.
This place looks amazing & the food is the best I've had in along time. You can taste the freshness. The "52" concept is great. Each week they have a new menu featuring the cuisine of a different city. It's a must try!
The place may look great but wait until you start to deal with the "banquet manager". We were given the "Distinctive Banquets" packet of information to look over and choose from. Priced from $21 to $32 seemed reasonable. When we called to book they said they needed a $40/per person guarantee because it was a Friday night!!! Who throws parties or large dinner outings on a Tuesday?? This place...
All I can say is WOW! This place looks like a majestic Tuscan Villa that takes your breath away. The food was outstanding. It's very modern Italian like crudo & some adventurous sauces, as well as the Italian classics you would expect. They must have some really excellent chefs because i've been there about 6 times & it has always been excellent & consistant. Leave room for dessert, the pastry ...
