Armondo's Cafe Italiano is a neighborhood favorite We have gone to Armondo's for years and always have a good meal. I kind of miss the old tap room, but still enjoy the new location. Pizza is great and the kids like to watch them toss the dough! Read More On CitysearchCitysearch User 10/12/2009
Nice and Cozy I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and I order the shrimp pasta, and my husband had lasagna, which both were delicious. The bread was flavorful and I would recommend this place Read More On CitysearchCitysearch User 9/25/2009

A great work group lunch location We've had many work-group lunches here, and it always offered a good private experience. However, they moved to a new location a couple blocks away since I was last there, so I can't vouch for that part anymore. But I'm sure it's still good, and I'm sure the food is still as good as it ever was. Menu offers a good variety, and quality is always good. Read More On CitysearchCitysearch User 11/15/2008
Not What it used to be The food seems to have been better previously. It is still good, just not as flavorful as I remembered from years ago. The pizza is still my favorite thing on the menu. Price is decent for the quality and quantity. Read More On CitysearchCitysearch User 9/9/2008
It used to be better The last time I visited it just wasn't what it used to be. I am not sure why but the food didn't have the same zip. I hope it was just an off night for the chef because in the past I have loved their food and service. Read More On CitysearchCitysearch User 9/4/2008

Good food! For a dining experience you won't forget, go to Armondo's. I have enjoyed all of the menu items I've tried. They have a delicious Caesar salad, the pasta dishes are wonderful as well. The atmosphere is very pleasant. They have lots of booths and also tables for larger parties. Read More On CitysearchCitysearch User 6/26/2008
Best Italian in Renton We went to dinner recently at Armondo's and had a wonderful evening. Our server Dana was pleasant, informative and very prompt with her service. They gave us bread with olive oil & balsomic to start with, what a nice touch. The server suggested their calamari, how wonderful it was, it was a steak instead of rings. It came with 3 sauces that went great with it. I had the eggplant, my husband ... Read More On Citysearchtulalynn 6/8/2008
They just plain miss,,, From the bogus salads, to the pile of slop lasagna, (with what may have been cheddar cheese on top?) to the tomato sauce that has canned mushrooms and bell peppers in it, to the snooty service, to the classless dining room, they just miss. I for some reason, have been there 3 times for nothing more than the lack of anywhere else to go in Renton,, but this was the last time for sure. Reminds me... Best Italian restaurant in Renton, excellent and ample food, moderate prices The restaurant has long held the title of best Italian restaurant in Renton, and it is no wonder. The food is excellent and is provided in such quantity that customers frequently ask for a doggie box to take the remainder of dinner home with them. Prices are also noticably moderate. This place is worthy of repeat visits. Read More On Citysearchmddevine 5/22/2008
Yummy food, great atmosphere We went Armondos, and the food was very good. I would highly recommend the Chicken Armondo. It is to die for. Also the wait staff was nice and helpful. The drinks were well made. It is a lovely little surprise in Renton!! Read More On CitysearchCandaceConaty 5/17/2008
Even good takeout I went with my co-workers a while back and thought the food was great! The chicken was tender, the pasta wasn't overcooked, and even the salad was tasty (great dressing, too). I even ordered the salmon to take home to my husband and HE thought it was great...and he's picky when it comes to seafood. The previous reviewer obviously did not read their menu, though. Caesar salads MAY be substitut... Read More On Citysearchhaagendoggy 11/30/2007
What Service!!! Don't get the salad!!! There's hidden fees The Service was slow. I ordered the lunch special and was asked which I would rather have Soup or salad and I said What the choices are and they told me all the choices. So I picked Ceasar and they charged me extra at the end. I complained about it and they would not take it off my bill. Soup or Salad comes with the lunch !!! I think they forgot their own menu. I will never return there Read More On Citysearchyvettie70 11/7/2007
Reliable Family Italian Food in Renton Armondo's is the Renton hangout. Very good Italian food - better than Olive Garden and below Il Terrazo. Reliable. Service is good but not great. Try the pizzas. Read More On Citysearchkennydaleguy 5/20/2007
Customer service with a twist Ate there for the first time and wasn't impressed with the customer service or meal.
The wait staff was friendly but our main waitress never returned to the table once the main course was served. The meal was OK at best but overpriced for what we were served. When did spaghetti and meatballs start costing $15? Read More On Citysearchwaldog 10/18/2006
I Stand Corrected! This restaurant touts fresh, authentic food; not bad, could improve. The menu hasn't changed much in the past several years. The mussels are reasonably priced for the amount you get; but they could be fresher still. Prices are comparable to other restaurants of the same cuisine; and definitely better than a chain, like Cucina Cucina. Not a romantic setting. Their former location afforded more of... Over priced under cooked Some times places that look bad are good and some times places that look
intresting are horrid. I had a chicken dish were the chicken was both rubbery and tasteless
not to mention the 4.50 salad. The garlic and oil is not bad, but the bread is day old at best

Terrific! We went to Armondo's for the first time, it's moved around the corner from its old spot. I love the ambience - it's very stylish and pretty.
