  7. Casa Sanchez is teriffic.
Casa Sanchez has great food and watch out for the Mariachi's! Loud but great fun. The first time we went we were seated next to the stage and had no idea they were going to play! The Ribs are fantastic. Yes, Ribs at a Mexican restaurant! Try 'em.

  9. Great food and music
We celebrated my mom's birthday at Cass Sanchez and we had a great time. The food was great and the music was really good. This is a perfect place for a large crowd. Once the music starts it's pretty difficult to communicate!

  10. Another great restaurant added to my favs
My fiance, my cousin, her husband and I wanted to experience a new mexican restaurant with mariachi, and we found it. Casa Sanchez was super good. Its located in Culver city, kind of hidden, in a nice neighborhood. When we drove up we thought it was small but when you walk in its very welcoming. The huge double wooden doors make you feel like you're entering an hacienda. As you walk in there is a...

  11. West LA mexican at its best
West LA is not the best place to grab Mexican food - so please, do not expect your going to have the greatest Mexican food in the city. Once you get over that, this is a pretty good place to eat. The ambiance is the first thing you notice. The restaurant is not in a classy neighborhood but you would not guess that from the inside. The decor is upscale Mexican Restaurant, tables are nicely s...

  13. Better than last time!
So this was my second visit to Casa Sanchez. The first time I went I took my boyfriend to dinner for his birthday. It was new and looked nice so we wanted to try it out. We weren't impressed. I ordered the fajitas and didn't care for them too much. He ordered a steak and didn't like it much either. The pomegranate margarita was good, though. For just the two of us I paid well over $120.00. I prom...

  14. Overpriced, bland, food. Rude service.
My girlfriend and I live in the area and were excited when this place opened up. We were looking forward to having another great mexican restaurant in the area. Wow were we let down. I tried the steak fajitas. Bland, no spice, no sides. I asked for some sour cream or something to put on it because the steak was dry and there were not many peppers and the first two staff members didn't speak ...

  16. Mariachi's
Had so much fun with the entertainment (only Thursdays thru Sundays) that I hardly remember what I ate. The mariachi's are excellent and the food was good. Really liked the chips. Great atmosphere.

  17. Great Guacamole and Reasonable prices
We have now been to Casa Sanchez 3 times. Delighted all three times. You get free guacamole and chips as soon as you sit down. You can have dinners from $8.95 and up. Exotic Seafoods or Chili Rellenos. The quality is lightyears above El Cholo. Not even similar. The dining room is like a Beverly Hills Mansion with a beautiful stage. One song by the Excellent Mariachis and then one Flamingo Dance. ...

  19. food is average but go for the mariachi band!
Casa Sanchez stands where the old Marina Mago's used to be (the first Japanese American restaurant- a little history for you all). The food isn't your typical Mexican fare- a bit fancier, or at least trying to be. The food isn't all that special, but they have a mariachi band that plays on Thursday and Friday nights (maybe some other nights too, I think). They are entertaining and charming and...

  20. Overview
The restaurant was basically empty when we arrived. We waited for the rest of our party to arrive and due to traffic, they were late. We finally ordered. Drinks came quickly. When food arrived, the fajitas were on one platter and the rice and beans on another. Rice and beans were lukewarm., but the entree was hot. The mariachis were great, but much too loud to carry on a conversation across t...

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and both times the service was really slow. The waiters take a real long time to come back and check on you. The plates are overpriced and small portions are served. We left the restaurant still hungry. The mariachi is good and the paintings of famous Mariachi icons are beautiful. The atmosphere is nice. The table settings is elegant. I would on...

  23. Great Mariachi!
Im a big fan of new restaurants and this one took me by suprise. You defenitly dont expect to find a restaurant like this on the West Side. Very upscale, MEXICAN restaurant. You dont see that every day. They have these amazing portraits of "im guessing " Mariachi Singers? I should have asked. But the paintings are amazing. The food was good. It took a while to get to our table but who can compla...

  24. Best everything over all!
completely breath taking....the entrance to this restaurant is completely gorgeous! From the high cielings to the beautiful iron work. The hostess was very nice and even though i felt i wasnt dressed for such a nice place, she made me feel better by not acting snooty like they do at other restaurants. I had no Idea they had a mariachi band so I ws suprised when the 10 piece mariachi band came ou...

  25. Casa Sanchez
Located in Mar Vista, valet parking, great decor, food, service, and enterainment. Way out of the norm for the neighborhood. You will feel like you're dining in Beverly Hills. The mariachi band is very classy, I felt like I was in Cabo again.

  26. Authentic Mexican Food
If you love the Hacienda style, dimmed lights and live mariachi band this is defintaely the place to be. My first time going and the impression they gave me was an A++++. The owner is there and greets you. Looks like its very family oriented. Will go back for sure!!! Highly recommended!!!
