Up-scale Eastern European? Almost oxymoronic. But that's what it is. This small bar has a great variety of Czech and Polish beers found nowhere else I've seen. I imagine the former Soviet -bloc countries enjoy a reception as frosty as the beer they pour. But this place actually laughs in your face and insults you for bothering them with your petty concerns=a drink. If the wine, beer, or anything else were good, this surly treatment might be amusing but the place just isn't worth it. I can't wait for whatever new place will open when this place closes.
