  3. Disappointing
I had saved trying Havana Grill for a day when I really, really, really needed the comforts of home. When I went inside, the food looked pretty sketchy because it was arrayed on the front counter under heat lamps, so instead of picadillo or ropa vieja I decided to go with a Cuban sandwich. I'm glad I did, because the sandwich was mediocre, and wouldn't you rather have a mediocre sandwich than a ...

  5. good authentic cuban
I am cuban american and I went to eat here when they first opened. they have totally improved. i am still hesitant about ordering dinner there (everything is under heating lamps). Every cuban knows, that for the best quality cuban food, it has to be made to order. they have the best yuca frita (that cilantro mayo is to die for!)the sanwhiches are great (those home made mini papitas fritas-are aw...

This place, Havana Grill, is my favorite resturant in town! If you havent tried cuban food, or have, than this is the place for you! The owners are incredibly nice, and the food is AMAZING!I love going on Saturday nights and dancing or hanging out. I am half cuban, so I grew up eating cuban food, and this the best! when I go I have the steak with white rice, and plantains. The bread is THE BEST!...

  8. Good food, fun place
Some friends and my husband and I ate there last summer and had an enjoyable time. The service is more cafeteria-style, but the food is tasty and inexpensive and authentic. We sat outside on their patio and spent several hours eating, sipping sangria and talking. They also have music, which was initially a bit loud for conversation, but it was adjusted when brought to their attention.

This was the first time eating at this establishment. The food was OK. I guess Cuban cuisine is not my thing. I had the Cuban sandwich which was my first Cuban sandwich. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was OK.

My husband and I have become regulars since we first discovered this small, casual, cozy restaurant that is hidden away in Downtown Cary. We tend to go on weeknights or Saturdays for lunch when it is not quite so busy, which gives us the opportunity to visit with the lovely owner.- this is the type of place where it is like a visit with friends. 13. I don't know about Cuban food, but I know this tastes good!!
I cannot review Havana Grill as someone that has any idea of authentic Cuban food, but I know this place has some tasty, reasonably priced food. It reminds me most closely of the Puerto Rican food I've had while visiting that island. the food has a lot of flavor from nice spices, almost a rich taste, and the ingredients have been of good quality. The chicken soup has huge chucks of meat in the...
