I had heard great things about this restaurant and was eager to try it. My family, about 10 of us, gathered here for a birthday dinner. The appetizers we ordered were very good. Then the waiter brought out bread that was so hard and stale that we couldn't eat it. The second batch was much better.

The prices were reasonable but the food was just average. I had the capellini w/basil garlic tomato sauce, couldn't taste the basil as there was very little, no garlic taste at all, I had the waiter put cheese on it when it was served...
Read More On Citysearch sushigirl 5/19/2008 - Absolutely Delicious!We just went to West Coast Cafe this past weekend and had a wonderful dining experience. The staff is so cordial and professional. The food is outstanding, some of the best I have ever tasted. The restaurant is quaint and extremely clean. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

This is a hidden treasure right in the middle of alot of Asian rerstaurants on San Mateo Ave. @ Jenevein.
