I have been to Sasso four times now. I am slowly working through the menu. The scallops over oxtail is my favorite followed closely by the duck over green garlic rissotto. The service on all visits has been very good attentive but not pushy. I would highly recommend Sasso

cocktail: didn't like that ginger (peach?) bellini. doesn't taste like anything. parisien martini, on the other hand, was delicious.

I had the augula salad and the scallop dish presentation was great and the flavors were outstanding. The service was super attentive without being over the top. I think it is the best dining experience I have had in Boston for years.

Read More On Citysearch vraps 2/21/2008 - Extremely polite and friendly staffIt's nice to go to a restaurant where they actually seem pleased to see you. Hostess was awesome smiling and friendly. This continued with the waiter who was extremely attentive . The food was very good I had the arugula salad great flavor and then I had the baked pasta with lobster. I still have cravings for that dish, I cant wait to go back and try some other menu items.

Finally a restaurant in the back bay/south end, where everyone is actually friendly and efficient. Try the crudo misto for an amazing cold appetizer.
