family/marriage problems dumped on members as they work out! I don't know where to start, well lets just say this, this place not the place to be, first lets start with the facts small space, unclean and it is run by a husband and wife who are dishonest and they both actually report to the actual owner who is located upstairs above the gym. I have encountered many issues and I will advise you to stay away. The day care has been a main problem, at one point... Read More On CitysearchOk seriously 12/29/2009
How is this place still in business? This place is a disaster! I decided to try out the place after my doctor recommended some weight training after my injury. It took one visit to decide this place was not for me. I concluded that the only reason I saw anyone there was because they were stuck in a membership they couldn't get out of. The sauna was unusable. The staff was rude. The facilities do not accommodate anyone with an ... Read More On CitysearchVron23 9/9/2009
Buyer beware - Overpriced, rates offered were not honored... I joined this gym because it's in the neighborhood and closer to me than Crunch or NYSC. Otherwise I wouldn't have even considered it because both of those are at least well run. I signed up in April and was told (and it is in my contract) that I would pay nothing until June due to free months, etc. for signing up. They proceeded to overbill my credit card from April on.
I was told by the ... Read More On CitysearchBerger 6/24/2009

great gym I've gone to this gym off and on for years.
The place has always been clean, and has good staff and great machines.
This is a family run business and not an impersonal mega corporation. Read More On CitysearchCitysearch User 4/30/2009
Working out on top of other people..... At first I didn't mind that this place was so small because it's not usually crowded -- you can usually get the machine you want without much of a wait, even though there are like 4 bikes and not many ellipticals and treadmills. But it's not really the number of machines that's the problem, it's how CRAMPED the whole place is. It's weird to work out right on top of other people, especially when m... Upscale Fitness Center This club is located in the heart of Park Slope in Brooklyn, New York. Although this fitness center may not compare in size to some of the larger gyms (belonging to franchises) in NYC, the intimate setting allows for a more comfortable, relaxed and productive workout session. The Slope offers a large array of classes teaching Yoga, Pre-natal Yoga, Pilates, Spin, Kickboxing, Urban Dance Flow and F... Read More On Citysearchbr00klynstorm 12/3/2007
Don't be fooled by the water fountain Terrible billing problems, and an overcrowded, expensive gym. I deeply regret my membership. So my girlfriend convinced me to join this gym after having been a member at Body Reserve. The Slope looks swanky, so I figured it would be fine. Wow. I was totally wrong. The Slope is terrible. They mess up our bill on a monthly basis. My girlfriend and I have complained about this and they refuse to fix it. Honestly, they don't seem to care. 10 months after signing us up for a membership, they ... Read More On Citysearchjamesjoyce5 10/25/2007

Snap Fitness Brooklyn Park (63rd and Boone) I really have no rating...if the story of the skater kid saying my dad owns this is true...well then it is not a good place. We have a unique club with personal training that happened by demand...not by purchase or offering less for more! We have some very unique trainers that get results and have been in the business for over 13 years! If you have to dodge kids and pay money to meet someone... Discrimination Anyone who's a member of The Slope Health and Fitness for a year or more knows what a hell hole it has been for the last six months. The fitness manager who is white called a maintenance worker who is of latino heritage a Hispanic gangster. It is amazing to me that this guy still holds his post at the gym. Last week, a staff was canned for "gossiping" although that was never proven. In other w... Read More On Citysearchbkdude 5/13/2007
Don't bother joining. This place is unorganized and unprofessional. I was about to join the gym when exiting the lockerroom a black child on heelies bumped into me. When I suggested to him he should be careful and not skate indoors he replied, "my daddy owns this." Right then and there I decided not to join. As a CEO of a small publishing firm, I can already see a poorly run business. This happened several weeks ago. ... Read More On Citysearchluckyperry 5/10/2007
