Why does someone decide to open a sushi bar? I mean, seriously. The greatest majority of restaurants fail in their first few years.
In Tomo Sushi we have an example of one of those unique non-failures that has been played up by the drunken in-crowd that hasn't the first clue what exquisite sushi is all about.

The place is small but decor is decadent and intimate. I had the fried calamari as an appetizer and it was excellent! Lunch sushi special was delicious and ample -- miso soup, 5 large sushi, spicy tuna role and a tempura role that was yummy. Also the sashimi dinner was ample in size and incredibly fresh.
