Best porterhouse steak anywhere (sorry Ben Benson) and a reasonable number $$$. Within easy walking distance of the Garden (unless it is raining), and never too crowded to take in a special meal. I always make reservations, but I think you could chance just showing up.

The french onion was amazing and ceaser salad was just as good. We chose the filet and although it was very tasty, it tasted a little off from some other $40 steaks that I've had. To start we had the seafood bouquet with some of the best shrimp and oysters. Then we moved to the Porterhouse steak for four, perfectly cooked. The wine list was also very good. What a nice restaurant. The steak of course was great and the drinks were made nice and strong. Service was just as good. I would definitely suggest have dinner one night if you are in the area!!!
