Amongst the many Indian restaurants in the Triangle, Azitra seemed to be the most popular. However, I found it to be just fine and not overtly fantastic as some had claimed. I would reserve brownie points to the ambience which fit in with my mood for a quiet and relaxing evening. The food was good but definitely did not deserve the price listed.

I have been to Azitra 1-2 times. I found the food to be bland and also expensive for the quantity that is served. The ambiance is good if you are looking for a quiet place.

The portions aren't huge, but the quality and richness of flavor of the dishes makes this a non-issue. The restaurant itself is beautiful; staff is quiet and unassuming. It is expensive, perhaps a special occasion destination, or lunch option, but dining of this quality is worth the cost.

This is definitely a "watered-down" version of Indian food. In normal Indian restaurants, my friend tends to ask for her food to be "mild". Here, she asked for "medium"...and complained that it was still way too bland! I asked for the spiciest they offer...and was sorely disappointed.
Our waitress was this American girl who couldn't pronounce half the food on the menu......
