Good Location
This hotel is in a very good location: walking distance to Fanieul Hall/Quincy Market, only a few blocks from the Charles/MGH T stop. The service was good. The room was an average size and everything was clean and operating.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL
Caution to anyone staying at this hotel. I recently stayed there and and a ring was stolen from my room. Part of this was my fault for leaving it in the room. Yes I was upset that the ring is gone. But the customer service I received from the Asst. Manger and the General manger was the worse that I have ever experienced. I ask that the manger call me on my cell phone, and that took asking 2 times...

Friendliest hotel staff anywhere!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Select Government Center. Their hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For example, I was looking for a nearby church to attend on Sunday morning. The man on duty at the front desk looked online, flipped through a phonebook, and helped locate a church within walking distance with my worship preferences. On other occasions they smiled as th...
