- Bad fish
I got a seafood dish here that tasted unbelievably unfresh (and bland). The fish seems to be either old or frozen. I can not believe they charge for this food. Just horrible.

I've been to Mancora several times and always enjoyed my meal. They have peruvian style roast chicken and steak - both are delicious. For more adventurous eaters, they have ceviche, which is marinated raw fish. If you like sushi - you'll like this. I also like the fact that the restaurant is pretty low-key for the east village - not too noisy and usually not incredibly crowded.

The ceviche was huge pieces of raw fish that were a bit intimidating, not the normal chopped ceviche. The chicken with spinach was rubbery and tasteless and almost inedible. The redsnapper was extremely crunchy and not tasty at all. The Caiprinha's were good, the open air environment was good. Would not return here.

Pitcher of sangria, app, 2 entrees, 2 beers 60 bucks. that's pretty good.
