  4. Texas Blues Guitarist Blind Eye Britt
I visit the Twin Cities once a year and first on my list is a visit to the Guitar Boutique. The array of custom built guitars, name brand gtrs, amps and top shelf accessories are impressive. The staff is excellent in picking up your playing style and can place matched instruments in your hands without the standard sales push. They give you space and at anytime, help you find what you might like o...

  5. The Anti Guitar Center!
American Guitar and Band is not Guitar Center. For all the right reasons. And that is a very good thing. Whenever I have grudgingly visited Guitar Centers in the last couple years of my life, I've had to brace myself for the onslaught of arrogant, rude and pushy associates who either don't know what they're talking about--or!--if they do know what they're talking about, they make it quite a po...

  6. Best music store! Shop, take lessons, rent instruments
Known for its uncommon selection of gear and upscale, friendly atmosphere, family-owned American Guitar Boutique opened in 2000 and was located in St. Paul for its first five years of business. In 2007 the company expanded to include a wider range of instruments and was renamed American Guitar & Band. Now located in Maple Grove, it is drawing national attention as a destination for professional...

  7. Everything & More
I got to say I had no idea there were guitars, basses and amps that played like this out there. This store has everything! Nothing but high quality gear all around and definetly something for everyone... I saw guitars for $300 and I saw guitars for $5000. Plus as a bonus... the employees knew what they were talking about, what a shocker. Unlike some places I've been to lately *cough* Guitar C...

  8. It's better made by real hands
Only a few people have found this pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Guitar Boutique is filled with gorgeous, hand-crafted (custom) instruments and amps that any capable hands can try out and play on! PROS: AMAZING guitars and amps that they actually let you play! CONS: price (big time!)

  9. Boutique Guitars and Amps
Specializing in handmade, 'boutique' gear, you won't find your traditonal Gibsons and Fenders here. If you are looking for a handmade USA or Import guitar that is a bit more than average, you're looking in the right place. High prices on many items, but if you are in the market for high end gear, take a look.

  10. A treasure trove of gear and excellent service
This shop and website are unsurpassed. Amazing, very cool staff, extraordinary selection of gear in a state-of-the-art showroom with recording studios to test all equipment. I could easily spend all of my time and money with these guys.
