Read More On Citysearch myfoodinchicago 3/13/2010 - Opart is great Thai StapleEveryone tries the Tiger Cry - and it does not disappoint. The staff is great and I always enjoy Opart. They get busy on weekends, so if your are looking for quiet, get take out or find a less popular restaurant.
Believe me, you will not find better Thai in Chicago (though Sticky Rice use to be pretty tasty). BTW, if you are ever in Thailand, try their restaurant "Chicago".

The noodles were the thin kind, though, so don't go expecting thick noodles like they offer at other stores. Still, it was very tasty, a good mix of seasonings, meat and veggies. The food is great and a testament to the restaurant being in business for 11+ years. While the atmosphere is a bit dated, you can't beat the price and the BYOB. The liquor store to two doors down!
