If you're looking for the real thing, this is not it. The place is clean and you can bring your own drink. Very cool! However, Thai food is know for a lot of different sweet and sour sauces/curries. All the dishes I tried were a lot more sweet, than a good combination of the both. I will keep on searching for the real thing. Read More On CitysearchIllini09 2/16/2009
not bad I ordered my food to pick up but it wasn't ready when I was told it would be. Had to wait 10 more minutes, which annoyed me. The food itself wasn't bad, just OK. Read More On CitysearchCitysearch User 7/18/2008
Nice Emplyees , Crappy Food This place got so many kudos , but to be honest this place sucked . I went there tonight for the first
time because it was recommended , but I am sad to have spent $40 . I would say Penny's Noodle
beats this place by far ! Very nice employees , BAD FOOD !!! Read More On Citysearchwilliamspuhler 2/15/2008

Spicy, Tasty, and Adventurous Best Thai I've found since moving back to the City. Very authentic; many unusual dishes and most very good. Also, if you like spice, you don't have to beg here to give you a spicy dish. Did have one dish I wouldn't recommend -- the whole fish. Otherwise, be adventurous and enjoy. BYOB. Mushy fried rice! My friend and I decided to try a new thai place, and were extremely disapponted in Thai Spoon. The overpriced eggrolls looked like mini appetizers-- really small. The chicken fried rice I ordered was so mushy, with boiled chicken and no vegetables. I had 3 bites and took it out to the dumpster. The meal which consisted of fried rice and eggrolls was just under 20 bucks!! And the woman behind... Read More On Citysearchmotorcyclegirl 7/7/2005
Great Thai food a little out of the way We had to take two trains to get here, but it was well worth it. The Thai food was out of this world. I had fried tofu appetizer with side of sweet and sour peanut sauce and wife had shrimp egg rolls. For mains, I had red curry, just the right spice. Wife had Yum Woonsen salad, which was a tad too spicey for her. I helped her with it, and it was awesome, a little hot, but didn't cause me to ... Read More On Citysearchjoelrwilliams 6/1/2005
