If you are looking for great lunch specials Misono is the place to eat. I tried their Miso Salmon and not only was the fish cooked perfectly but it wasn't a tiny piece that you'd normally expect for a lunch special. The salmon came on a nice bed of rice with a very tasty sauce drizzled over it all. I highly recommend trying Misono if you are looking for a good meal.
If you want to eat a lot of fish for a reasonable price, Misono's sushi menu is the best I've found. There are other places that serve better-tasting sushi (to my tastes--I'm not a big fan of the excessive rice seasoning in their Don, and the fish-to-rice ratio of their nigiri is high in my mind). But you'll literally get 2-3 times as much fish at Misono as other restaurants, for the same price,...
What a wonderful restaurant. I have been eating sushi at Misono every week for years and cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I have tried Oishi twice because I heard it was the best sushi in town, and I have been so much more impressed with Misono. Their sushi is always delicious, so fresh and always consistent. And the manager / owner (?) is always so courteous and friendly, the...
I am an absolute food snob and recently discovered Misono after moving close by. The first time I tried their restaurant, I made it an telephone order to go. I can honestly say I have NO idea where the other commenter got the idea that people get cheated on phone orders! I got wonderful service and I have ordered food by phone multiple times and I have NEVER had a problem. Not to mention the fact...
I have been to many sushi restaurants and this is by far my favorite. I always order off the specials menu....the creative rolls are DELICIOUS....I highly reccomend the Lobster Explosion!! My husband and I try to get in at least once a week. We can bring our toddler and enjoy the great food and atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. The hostess is great and has gone ou...
The food was good but the service was mediocre. The girl that waited on my table was unfriendly and never smiled once. I decided to leave just over 10 % percent gratuity because I felt that was all she deserved for the service she provided. The service was not good enough for me to leave her more. After I walked out of the restaurant, she came chasing me down the street. She says that she dese...
I work in the area and always come in for lunch. There fish is always fresh and the staff is always great. I highly recomend this place.
This place is great. My wife and I have ordered from Misono for the past 3 years and have enjoyed it. The service is professional, polite, and efficient. The food is delicious and fresh. We have dined in and ordered take-out. Our favorites are the Makimono Trio, the Sushi Deluxe, and the Chirashi sushi. Of course the California roll is a winner too!
I have never eaten-in at this restaurant as the take-out service is great. they do bento boxes and prepare them fabulously. You can easily transport them safely and without fear of the food being messed up when you get home. Now to the food -- DELICIOUS ! Staff extremely friendly. after going there many times they know me by name..
My girlfriend and I eat here about twice a month and love it. Their sushi is always tasty and their service is good. What I like most about this place is its unpretentious atmosphere. I can go and be as casual or dressed up as I like and it still feels just right. The decor inside is very calm inviting.

My wife and I have been to many sushi restaurants in Boston and have not found one where we would go twice. However, after eating at Misono (recomended from my boss), we have been there countless amount of times and EVERY time is just better than the last. I normally dont write reviews, but I just want Boston to know about this place that is just not well known.
This restaur...
The lunch at Misnono is great. Their take out bento was well prepared and was set beautifully. The bento I bought had salad with ginger dressing, a special weekly side, salmon terriyaki with broccoli, and shumai. The shumai was crisp on the outside and the salmon didn't taste fishy at all. The Korean barbecue is also good. This deserves two thumbs up
If you are placing an order over the phone, you are risking paying 3+ times more than expected.
At least verify the total price.
For instance, if you order maki combo, you might have to pay for 30-40 pieces party boat. That just happened to me.
When you step inside Misono you will be pleasantly surprise. It is located in a strip mall, but the restaurant is beautifully decorated. They even have a small koi pond.
They serve Japanese and Korean food and have a small sushi bar. There are quite a few vegetarian options and the staff is very friendly. Even on nights and weekend Misono is not over-crowded, it is a hidden gem.

If you enjoy watching a true sushi artist, the sushi bar at Misono, where you can enjoy Oshino, the sushi chef, is the place to be. With the tilt of his head, he puts the final touches on your sushi-as-art. We have tried many Boston sushi restaurants and Misono is clearly the best for flavor and presentation. Try the Red Dragon Roll and the Spicy Scallop Trio. Oshinos Naruto is a thin-sliced cucu...
