- The first year was perfectThe first year this property opened I booked a 4 night stay and found aside from a choice of food options on-site the amenities were up to par with most better business hotels. The following year I stayed for 3 nights and was definitely not as impressed as I was the year before. The Chattanoogan is a relatively new hotel in downtown Chattanooga. They are located near the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo. Other downtown tourist attractions are at the other end of town, but can easily be walked to, or you can take the electric bus for free.
