We loved the atmosphere- elegant, but with a rustic, upscale lodge feel. The wine was excellent and the food exceptional- the best I've had in years. Will definitely be back soon!

This is the place for date night on the North side of Atlanta. The meals are wonderfully prepared and the ambiance might even be better. The best time to go is early so you can dine outside (weather permitting) and have the view of the river. Just the house breads are to die for. Appetizers are incredible, and the main entrees are superb. It's definitely worth the trip.

Seafood and appetizers are Canoe's strength. But the mandatory "turf" dishes are expertly prepared.
Pricey, but always a favorite of mine for a special occasion.

This is one of the most picturesque places in town. I love to go there in the early evening and watch the sun filter through the trees onto the river, which is at the bottom of rolling lawns.
The straighforward food is good, not great. Sometimes I go for the bar and appetizers, which are superior.
