I went to Imperial Fez last night. The evening started off good and our waiter was attentive, at first. One belly dancer came out and danced for like 15 minutes in one area of the room. You literally had to get out of your seat to see her. The food came out warm, instead of hot, and the recommended drinks left something to be desired. Once we were served we never saw the waiter again! The cu...
I went here for a friend's birthday and was disappointed. Although the food was pretty good and the experience was unique the service was awful. It was difficult to get refills on water (if any at all), we had an array of waitstaff, waitress was slow and could not answer questions about the dishes, and when it came time to pay the bill we had to wait over a half hour to get the attention of the w...
The waitress took the time to explain everything about the Moroccan dining style.
I ordered a sauteed shrimp, my girlfriend ordered a lamb cutlet, they were both wonderful.
The fire dance is amazing.
We had a great time during dinner. We will definitely come back.
Me and my Girl went to the Fez 11/14/09 It was a our 5 year anniversary of being together we had been to the sister restaurant on the 7th and the manager told us about the fez and I planned our dinner there. Everything was wonderful right down to the very last crumb/ drop the Ambiance set the mood for a romantic evening and the service was perfect they made us relax, it felt like we were having ...
My wife and I went to Imperial Fez for our anniversary on 9/4/09. Our first annoyance is the fact that there is no self parking - valet only. Granted the valet is complimentary, but what good is that if no one comes out when you pull up in front of the restaurant? We had reservations, so it's not like they didn't know we were coming. So, once we get in, we are asked to remove our shoes. No proble...
This is an unique restaurant where you not only have a special dinning experience with a great food but you also get to watch a beautiful belly dancing show.
The fire dance is fantastic!! The food is great. We had a great time, and I'm definitely coming back again with some more friends.
One of my hobbies for the past thirty-something years has been to learn about and experience foods from different parts of the world so I have eaten at many ethnic eateries during that time. I am well acquainted with a number of different cuisines including Lebanese, Persian, Hebrew (Kosher), Greek, Southern Indian, Pakistani, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Chinese (Mongolian, Szechwan and Cantonese), ...
I'M still an employee of the imperial fez!!!
And it's with great pride that I'm sharing my experiences at the Imperial fez with you.
For most of you, it's about dinning for special occasions, change, discovering something new, impressing someone or even just celebrating life.
But what you don't know is: What is imperial fez anyway? The question seems simple. But the truth is, it?s just not tha...
I have been to the Imperial Fez on numerous occassions over the past years, and have never been disappointed by the food and atmosphere. I do not know many restaurants where the chef & owner makes a real effort to meet as many guests personally as possible. But at the Imperial Fez both Rita & Rafih (owners) are extremely accessible and always eager to make everyone's dining experience a special o...
Imperial Fez offers Moroccan art, belly dancing, and music along with excellent cuisine and service. It delivers a complete evening of Moroccan cuisine and culture. The atmosphere is simply divine. This place is great for any celebration.
I don't know what spices and herbs they put into their lamb kebob, but they are perfect, juice and to die for.
If you want something different you definitely this restaurant it's the place to go.
I good place to take your girlfriend with a great food, cushion seats and some live belly dancing show.
Me and my girlfriend went as a first time visit. The atmosphere was different but nothing spectacular, the furniture and interior of the building looked cheap and the rugs and pillows looked like they were dusty and needed to be cleaned.
We were seated by our waitress who made a few comments to us that were completely unprofessional and rude. She then took 15 minutes before taking our order...
I came to the Imperial Fez Friday night for my birthday. I tell this place blew me away; it was like I walked into a whole new world. I found the price very reasonable starting at $25 and up for a five course meal. The service was like clockwork everything from the soup to the dessert was timed perfectly. The food was superb and totally worth it. The best part was the belly dancer she was stunnin...
The thing I have most against this restaurant is the pricing. It seems very expensive for what you get. But the ambiance is very Moroccan and if you enjoy belly dancers, this is the place for you.
I learned about this place when I accidently parked here when going to Sunny's. It was expensive cuisine in a really nice environment. The lamb is amazing and succulent. I have since become a fan of Ibiza next door since it is more affordable and features some highlights from Imperial Fez at a better price.
When I entered the restaurant, I noticed the cultural feel. Once my shoes were off, we were escorted to the table. The seating is quite low so I had to adjust because I am tall 5'11". We were given menus and we asked questions about what was recommended. It was our first visit. I enjoyed washing my hands with the water they provided. Then we were told to put our towel on our left shoulder....
If you ever in Atlanta, I highly suggest you make it to Imperial Fez. It is a tad pricey, but that is to be expected for superb service and food. Everything was perfect. I was here on a business meeting, and it was the perfect place to change up the mundane meeting settings. The food was heavenly. The chef is absolutely fearless when it comes to taking risks. The decor was entertaining and nothin...
The initial service was lovely until our waiter showed up. I'm 96% positive he was rude because my husband was Indian and he was most likely from Pakistan. (The waiter first asked him if he was Pakistani and my husband said Indian). I have never seen a waiter rush my husband to order. He even tried grabbing the menu from him before he decided on a drink. I am not exaggerating. He later straighte...
Really we were intrigued by the Moroccan idea and an international flavor. We also wanted to entertain some out of town guests. Let me tell you that this place is a total waste! We paid over $400 for a party of 5 and we were all dissapointed. The food was bland, they tried to serve us wayy too much and the water was straight out of the tap. We eventually left early because of the poor taste of th...
This restaurant has been around forever and is alot of fun to take guests to the city. That being said I was there last night with friends from out of town. We had a great time, the food is good and the entertainment is fun. There were only about 12 people in the entire restaurant and I'm thinking that unless they make some changes fast, this place could be on the endangered species list. The...
This is a great place! I enjoyed everything. The service, the food and the atmosphere. I wanted to get up and belly dance! This is a good date night adventure. Go out of country without leaving Atlanta.
Imperial Fez is the best! I felt like I was in Morocco or overseas when I dined here. The food is so good you eat until you are about to burst! The staff is wonderful and make you feel at ease for this new way of dining.
We've been to the restaurant several times on the past few years, and it still one of the best options in town for a fun dinner night.
The bellydancing show with fire, sword and dance it's a show apart. It's of those events that you will always remember and will want to repeat.
We love the moroccan food, the flavor and spices, we recommend the lamb cutlet and kabobs.
My Fiancee and I just visited the restaurant for the first time this past weekend, and I have to admit it most definitely is not worth the price. We went on a Saturday night when the five course meal is required. Shortly after arriving we were seated and soon after that the courses began. Everyone of the courses was good (both of us had the royal couscous as our entre choice) and the service was ...
We went in a party of 8 and everyone had something different to eat. What a feast. The Lamb was incredible and the dancing was something to see. Go hungry, wear your best socks and eat with your fingers! Hard to beat.... The fire dance is really fun and exciting as is all of the entertainment. Highly recommended for groups but small children may get bored with the food!
The restaurant definitely pampers it's customers by offering great customer service. It's a great place to take someone on a date. Yet, I found there was nothing special about the food. You receive a 5 course meal, but all the fun is squeezed out, because the food does not match up to excellent quality. You could definitely get better tasting food for 1/2 the price at other restaurants.
This restaurant is really an unique experience, it transports you to another country, I love it. The food is great, I recommend the lamb cutlets, it's beyond delicious. The belly dancing show is awesome, especially the fire dance.
I am a big "foodie" and if it was within my budget I'd dine with Rita and Rafih at "The Fez" once a week. We always take advantage of the 5 course meal and love the B'Stella. We have never had an entree we didn't enjoy! My experiences have always been great and we love the food, service and atmosphere! I highly recommend to anyone...
Every time I go to Imperial Fez, I have a great time. I love the food and the belly dancing show. It a great place for a large group party, people hava a lot of fun seating in the pillows and experiencing the moroccan dining style.
My co-workers had a party at Imperial Fez and and had a great time. An unique experience compared to other restaurant. The shows, the food, the service, everything was great.
My girlfriend loves the food and we always have a great time at the restaurant. We enjoy the belly dancing shows and the cozy cushions, we just sit down and relax, enjoy the show and the food.
I took my husband for his birthday and we had a wonderful evening!! It was nice to go to a restaurant and enjoy everything. It was a great birthday dinner for my husband. We even bought a moroccan cap at the small store inside the restaurant. It's wonderful souvenir.
I took my mother to celebrate Mother's Day and we had a great time. My mom loved everything, the food, the ambiance, the belly dancing shows. This is really an unique restaurant.
We had a great anniversary in a beautiful atmosphere and delicious cuisine. Keep up the good work. Congratulations.
I've been to Imperial Fez several times, and the staff is always courteous. We love the moroccan food, it's really tasteful and full of flavors. We enjoy the belly dancing shows, the fire dance is outstanding.
I took a friend here for his birthday and we had an amazing experience! He said it was one of his favorite birthday experiences ever. It was like being in another country. Such a different atmosphere and unlike anything in Atlanta. I see why so many people talk about this place now. The entertainment (belly dancers) were a lot of fun and spent a lot of time in our section which was great! E...
I went with a group of 9 people to Imperial Fez for my sister?s birthday. The experience was completely awful! We had reservations for 8:30, first group to be seated and the last group to leave at 1am. 4 ? HOURS!! Be prepared to pay for every refill and don't expect any compensation for their bad service! The area we were sitting at was the last place the belly dancers came to and it was at the e...
The ambience is good, the dancers provide great entertainment, the service is average, and the food is very pricy and nothing to look forward to. I ordered a couscous and kabob entree, and the couscous was so dry and badly prepared. None of us even finished a quarter portion of our entrees. This is some place you can go to for the entertainment, and that too if you have a lot of money to waste.
There's no question Imp Fez is authentic, from the tainted glass lanterns and rug adorned ceilings to the sultry belly dancers. The music has more of a modern bent than similar restaurants, and It's certainly not the kind of place for those loathe to experiment. Be prepared to lay down $150 for 2 people, but also be prepared to stuff yourself. Also, the environment induces sleepiness, watch out o...
From the first moment you enter the place you feel as though you are in another country, Morocco. Everything about this place is authentic. From the clothes the servers where to the actual servers. Everything and everyone is from Morocco. The Food is very tasty, maybe a little spicy (hot) for me, but still tasty. I'm vegeterian and was please with the selection of food.
Once there, you quickl...
Our group of 8 went out to dinner here, and it really was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Our server was rude, not helpful, got the food she brought to our table mixed up, NEVER smiled, and she "forgot" to bring us change for a $100 bill and we had to go hunt her down. Three of us felt sick during and after our meal from the food. I am writing this review in between going...
I took my girlfriend for a special night celebration and had a great time.
The food was delicious and belly dancing shows were very entertaining.
I will definitely come back more times.
My friend a I arrived to the restaurant before the rest of our party and the hostess was pretty rude. We were finally seated and the food was not very good and difficult to eat. My pomegranate martini tasted and looked like it had no alcohol in it. Waste of $8.50. It was so loud in there, the waitress misheard our order and brought the wrong drinks. Fortunately, our waitress was pretty nice ...
The ambiance was exquisite and the food is breathtaking...
From the time we stepped foot in the door everyone from the valet gentlemen to the servers made us feel at home -
We were so impressed with everything - We loved the belly dancing performances.
VERY DISAPPOINTED! I took my husband at Imperial Fez for a special birthday celebration. Prior to the reservations, I called to ensure that I want this to be a great birthday for him and they promised that we will be taken care of. When we arrived at the restaurant, we waited for 5 mins for the hostess and when we were seated, they stuck us in the back dark corner of the room. On top of that, ...
I've never been to this kind of restaurant, I can say it's truly unique. Be prepared to have fun and enjoy a night with wonderful belly dancing shows.
The food is also unique on its spices and flavors. I had a great time with my girlfriend and recommend to everybody.
Wow!! I went here with my husband and inlaws for my Mother-in-laws 50th birthday. It was so much fun. You take off your shoes when you in and sit on the floor to eat! The lamb was to die for. The couscous was the best I've ever eaten. There is no silverware, and you eat with your hands!!! When we went there were belly dancers, too. The decoration looks like you stepped off a plane in Moro...
I went here last night and I was VERY dissapointed! The music WAY to loud, you can't even hear yourself think. The wait staff VERY rude, didn't smile, rolled eyes at questions and would not even offer a glass of water and when you asked for water they didn't bring it out to your table. The prices out of control for the type of service you get. You have to take off your shoes & if you want to ...
My friend & I being to the Fez many times and enjoyed everytime. This time we decided to go and try the a la carte menu that they started about 6 month ago. Let me tell you it was so tasteful. I had a shrimp appetizer & my friend had a seafood one, it was sooooo good everyone should try the a la carte. I like the five course deal, but eating a la carte you can go more often and enjoy the place, r...
I BROUGHT 2 FRIENDS OF MINE AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME, WE SUPOSED TO GO TO A MOVIE AFTER DINER AT THE IMPERIAL FEZ AND WE DECIDED TO STAY BECAUSE THE IMPERIAL FEZ WAS BETTER THAN GOING TO THE MOVIES. THAT IS HOW GOOD IS THIS PLACE, YOU GO AND RELAX LET THE WAITERS DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU, ENJOY THE DANCING AND ON THE TOP OF ALL THE OWNER AND CHEF COME TO YOUR TABLE TO CHECK ON YOU AND TALK TO YOU. EX...
I took my mother there for her birthday. We had a lot of fun. We met the owners they were so polite. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that they can not split the check. There was about 10 of us and we wanted seperate checks. Oh well. It was fun the food was great and the atmosphere is awesome.
I wish that the owner can be limited to the introduction of dancers. Too many speeches and too much preaching. We felt like we were at a seminar not dining.
Food: Ok!
Service: Not so good
Value: Too expensive
we have been in morrocco numerous times and there is no class at this restaurant like morrocco showed us. Very disapointing. The bellydancers danced way to much we were sick to death of the loud music. Dancing nice but to much. Service horrible no one smiled. They seemed very unhappy. Good idea, but seemed more like i was at a nightmare disney world. There was a dancer that came out and did dan...
My husband and I found this in the hotel guide in our room and we were so glad we did! We went on Saturday night and were thoroughly entertained for 3 hours!!! Loved it, can't wait to go back.
I went to the Imperial Fez Last Saturday for my husbands birthday, we were 18 of us the place was packed, the hostess took good care of us as we enter the restaurant, she took our name and took us to the table. From than on everything went like I was thinking MAGIC, from the waiters and waitresses to the Chef that came to our table and talk to us, he is a wonderfull man full of knowledge, always ...
I was first attracted to the Imperial Fez with a promise of a beautiful belly dance performance, but returned again and again for the delicious food and fun, exotic atmosphere. Each return trip offered a new taste treat I had not tried before...and each time I was delighted by the lovely and talented dancers and server (my favorite is that Amani)...defintely the place to be in Atlanta!
My recent evening there was great.
The food is delicious. The belly dancing was out of this world.
It was a wonderful evening from a to z. Service was great too.
All my friends loved the food and we all had a great time together.
I went there with my wife my parents and 4 kids. Everything form the Hostess to the end was wonderful... perfect even. We were greeted at the door took off are shoes and taken to our seats we sat on cushions which we very comfortable. The ambience is fun, romantic and well out of this world! The severs was very good were served by a women name Fatima (Thank you for the wonderful time!!!!) My pare...
I went here with my boyfriend and my Father. They both had a nice time ogling the belly dancers, while I enjoyed the atmosphere. A word of advice, don't wear a short skirt! You will be sitting on low cushions. The food was okay, it was the atmosphere that makes the place special. It's very dimly lit, filled with cushions and exotic tapestry. They even have an exotic little shop at the entra...
I went with a group of friends, and first off, they refused to let us share the meals (which were huge) unless we paid an additional 25 dollars for an "entertainment fee." The food was decent, but nothing to go crazy about.
If you want something truly unique, this is the place for you! I feel like I've left Atlanta and discovered a brand new world when I dine here,it's so tasty and relaxing and the entertainment is spectacular! I can have a romantic dining experience here or the ultimate family dining experience also--very kid friendly!
Do you want to experience something different? This restaurant is highly recommended for the culturally diverse. Experience the belly dancing, food and difference. You basically come in, take off your shoes, learn, eat with your fingers, be entertained, and you dance (if you want to). I enjoyed myself.
This is a place to go on a special occasion and you are looking for out of the ordinary. Sitting on the floor and eating with your fingers is not the norm for most. I found it fun, exciting, and very, very different. The food was very good, service was good, and it is pricey. But it isn't somewhere to go all the time.
I have been to the Fez two times. I had a great time both times. I like the belly dancers and I love the decor and compfort of the pillows and couches and sitting on the couches. This is not a place for children. I drank the house hunch punch. It is really strong and gets you drunk but pretty expensive. The second time I went my other friends didn't think it was that great and they hated the...
From the moment I stepped into the Imperial Fez, I felt like I was transported to another world. The decor was lush and exotic, and the servers were friendly. The dancers were beautiful. The food was delicious! By the time the main course arrived, I was stuffed.
The best part about the Imperial Fez is the overall dining experience. We were able to stay as long as we wanted. We must have ...
I guess the people who gave bad reviews here would just be satisfied eating at their local Applebbe's. GET A LIFE! My birthday experience last month at Imperial Fez will be one to remeber.
From the minute you walk in the dining room you feel escaped from reality and taken into another culture. The infamous belly dancing serves as impecable entertainment between the courses of the fine cuisi...
This place is an Atlanta institution for a reason. Wow! The belly dancing, the food...the whole atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Went here with a group of friends and we had a good time. It really was entertaining and the wives and dates really liked it because it was so different than the typical restaurant in Atlanta. A must try if you are visiting, as well! I highly recommend this place!
My husband and I went with another couple. Food was decent and the decor was interesting, but the price was much too high--about $250 for the four of us and we are not heavy drinkers. Dancers were fun to watch, but couldn't see main dancing area from where we were sitting.
I and my fiancee had a wonderful time at the Imperial Fez. The food was delicious, the servers very friendly and the belly dancing show was outstanding.
Best exotic dancing. I had the most wonderful time, excellent dinner and learned to belly dancing.
forget going to morocco, go to Imperial Fez for best middle east food, belly dancing. the best place for you and your partner to have a romantic dinner.
I felt like I was on the set of Casablanca. The food, the music, the Moroccan hospitality Mmmm! I can not leave out the dancers they were so Beautiful!! There were two raven hair dancers that sole my heart. Their Wrists twisted and their hips swiveled the beat of the most romantic music I have ever heard. God bless the Fez.
I would just like to tell Atlanta natives and visitors that the Imperial Fez was the jewel of my recent entertaining affair. I had several friends from all overjoin me in a wonderful evening of fabulous food, music, atmosphere, and dancing. I have seen many bellydancers but atlanta has the best. And the owner Rafih is one of the most warm and hospitable people I have ever met and hope to converse...
i have been at the imperial fez recently with my wife and it was a perfect place to have a romantic night . everything was perfect from the hostess with her beautifull smile , the severs with their great service to us,to the oener who came to ask about our dinner how it was and the belly dancers who were excellent. what ever i will say is not enough to express how we enjoy it at the imperial fez....
First of all, it's hard for me to even express in WORDS the experience that I had at Imperial Fez! Any other Moroccan Restaurant is merely a weak imitation of the Fez! The service was absolutely wonderful! From the host, to the server, to the photographer. And the Foodooooh weee! We ordered the chicken shish kabob, and it was delicious. Everyone there catered to our every need, making my fiance, ...
I loved it. The food was great. The staff was very attentive without being intrusive. I loved the atmosphere.
I just celebrated my birthday there on 9/8. One of the most enjoyable places I have ever been. The owner is attentive and the staff is excellent. The food: superb, and the entertainment: a must see.
I had a great time at imperial fez last year.I mean whole year I kept talking about my experince about it.We were almost 35 people there for my birthday.Food ,music, belly dancing show and especially servers were so good.I'll never forget it.I'm thanking to every imperial fez workers from here for this unforgettable experience .see you soon guys
The Imperial Fez is the best! My recent evening there was great. I met Rita and Rafih the owners. They are great people. The food was excellent. The belly dancing was out of this world. The wonderful dancers roxanne and terri were also great people to talk to. It was a wonderful evening from a to z. service was great to.
I was not familiar with Moroccan cuisine until I ate some of the best ethnic food at the imperial fez. This restaurant was is the ideal place for a birthday celebration. My friends took me to there and we all had a great time while eating delicious food. The ambiance takes you to Aladdin country. I'm coming back for sure!
I am trilled with the comment such as don't give this food to you dog!
It was a wonderful night, surrounded with the friendly servers and flavourfull dishes
Really I would'not give this delicious Moroccan foods to my dog.
Be there and try Moroccan experience.
everything is perfect there i enjoy to be there.the food is owesome, the service is wonderfull . i can not be served any where else better than the fez.
I lived in Morocco for two years, I used to do Businness with the Moroccan Gov. However, I was really atracted by that north African paradize. The inspiration of the oriental culture mixed with a slite of the western traits that made that country a real paradize. One of the things that I was missing when I got back to the states, is the Moroccan cuisine. So I decided to go to the Imperial Fez Mor...
I dined at Imperial Fez a few months ago and loved every moment of the experience. Food, Atmosphere, Belly Dancer and Service transported us to another place. Everything thing you put in your mouth is delicious. Prawns are awesome. I did not realize how good this place was until I visted another local Moroccon restaurant. No competition hands down. This is a pricey place, but well worth it i...
