The menu was limited especially for lunch/brunch. Service very disjointed. The sausage platter was excellent. I must say it was better than the German places we've eaten at in Helen- those were horrible. I would go back here to have some beer and sausage.

My family is German, and I grew up in a small town with a large German ancestry. So, this food feels like comfort food to me. The sauerbraten is outstanding, and no short-cuts are taken in the preparation. If you like sausage, try to sausage platter for 2, and order from the extensive beer list. Okay for kids - well behaved customers. I would appreciate some additional Americanized snacks, they don't quite get the right formula for nachos, but the snitzel-waggen-furter-fruten German stuff is good. Authentic and not part of a chain...yeah.Recommended by a friend quite a while back, I was surprised by the welcome and the menu.
