Alvarez Mexican Restaurant
When I go home for a visit I meet my step father for lunch here. They serve you chips and salsa while you wait for your order. Very quick service, great food, good value. They don't even ask my step dad what he wants to drink they just bring his drink when they come to take his order. Very friendly staff. I usually get a burrito or enchilada. I look forward to going back soon.

Food made me sick.
I had a pork lunch there and it did not taste to good. I usually love Mexican food. I have been sick in bed for 3 days now. This has never happened to me before, ever.

Authentic Mexican
The food served at Alvarez Mexican Restaurant is as authentic as you can get this side of Texas. None of your watered-down, Americanized stuff served here. Tasty! Gail M.
