New Delhi Palace is our favorite restaurant for Indian Cuisine in Pasadena. The food is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. We recommend New Delhi to anyone!
I had been to various Indian restaurants and I classify them as Americanized Indian and authentic Indian restaurant. Americanized usually have better service, lesser spicy food and are always costlier. since this is located in downtown Pasadena I was not expecting it to be very cheap but as per service and quality of food they are coslty.
Last time I had been at lunch which was buffet.I liked...
Indian Cuisine is one of my favorites and it's been very difficult finding QUALITY cruising in the Pasadena area.
The restaurant was busy on the Saturday evening of our visit. Most of the tables here are very close to each other, however, upon request, we were seated in a separate area that was spacious and quiet.
They serve beer and wine only.

the lamb dish i had was excellent and they have an okra dish (I hate okra) that is amazing,
great service, best indian food around in Pasadena, highly recommend the place
We went there to have a late lunch with 2 friends on a Sunday. We were the only clients. I almost paralyzed when I saw one of the waiters taking one table cloth in order to sleep (in the bench) using it as blanket, and he didn't care we were there! . Then the chef came out the kitchen (His white uniform was all covered with food spots) and he decided to do the same thing as the waiter. And the la...
This place is incredibly overated. It is almost to the point that I wonder if they bought reviews and wrote some of the previous comments below. The food was bland and that is being kind. The service staff were very rude and slow. The price was par. I especially disliked the offering of rice with my dish (which other places include) and then being charged for it.
Their waiters will try to push every single item on their menu as if your life depended on it. They will suggest bread and rice when you order an entree as if it were free. You then check the menu to see if it is and it's not. Their smiles disappear when you tell them you don't want to eat that much and will ignore you after you do that.
Many better places to eat in Oldtown than this over...
Go for the lunch buffet. I pile up on the lamb curry -- it is incredibly good. Free naan. Don't wear anything that you would mind getting sauce on -- b/c curry just doesn't wash out.
I love going to New Delhi Palace. The food is great, the staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is so calming. They offer a great buffet lunch, which I believe is served daily. When I go for dinner, I always order palak paneer and chicken masala. The prices are reasonable, and they have a parking lot with free parking. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently started going to New Delhi. The ambience is a bit dated, but the food and service are great! I went there on a Sunday afternoon, and it was serving buffet only. I found the buffet to be less enjoyable because the food that's served is for the general public. Personally, I prefer dishes that have more of a kick. Overall, I highly recommend New Delhi for its food.
My comments about this place is about to change for the better compared - to my previous review 4 years ago. Having visited here recently because it was late and we didn't want to travel too far, so we decided to try out and see if there were any changes...boy let me tell ya, I must say that the place has very much improved. From the newly renovated theme, the staff, the menu, and they even reduc...
My friend and decided to try the New Delhi Palace for the first time this weekend and that will also be our last time. After we finished our first serving of nans we asked for some more and they never came. Later I asked for some champagne. We waited and waited and it never came, so we left. Not only was the service bad, the food was also bland.
