  1. Amici's East Coast Pizzeria is great for family outings
I think they have wonderful pizza, great service but not ny style pizza really, i think its a nice choice for families to go to and take their kids. I wouldn't go here on a date but i ordered take out and the pizza was delicious. I especially like the vegetarian

  2. Margherita Pizza
I have had the Margherita Pizza and absolutely love it. The food is fresh and very tasty. Service is friendly and quick and the prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is clean and modern. I have always enjoyed my meals at Amici's Mtn. View.

  4. Yummy thin crust pizza...
but i don't know how east coast it is. This is a great place to go with a group and share 3 of four of their creative and taste combinations. The pastas a decent, and you get a lot. It can be a little pricey but it's worth it if you a craving quality.

  6. good but a bit overated
Tried Amici's this week based on the reviews here. The pizza was good but definitely not the best pie's west of New York or even in San Jose for that matter. There were three in our group and we had caesar salad (so-so), minestrone soup (very good), pizza (good) and lasagna (very good), The wait staff was prompt for the most part but the prices are rediculously high for the pizza.

  7. My favorite pizza & pasta joint!
I love it so much, I had my wedding rehearsal dinner there! I went on the recommendation of KNBR's Ralph Barbiari. It is the best thin crust pizza out there. I like my pie with fresh garlic and the minestrone soup is great! Cool place to hang out with friends.

  8. Good Pizza, Not Great
The pizza here is pretty good pizza, but it's not great. It has the possibility to be great. The crust is really good, one of the best. But the sauce, is just bland, almost like ketchup. It's the one thing they really need to work on. And for the money, its over priced. I do like the atmosphere, and if I'm with friends, sharing a pie, is good. If you want reallt great pizza, drive about 5 ...

  11. Go if you want to spend 20$ and still be hungry
I have been there and will never go back. Pizza was so bad, i never had so bad pizza; not even the frozen ones.....place is a bit pricey too - u feel like that esp. after such a bad dinner. pasta was horrible too... Although we only ordered vegetarian pizzas...so do not know about the non-vegetarian ones...

  12. Great Thin-crust Pizza!
I've been here about 10 times and I've only ordered pizza. I've tried almost all of the specialty pizzas and they're all pretty darn good! The only downside would be that sometimes the edges of the crust would be burnt. To be honest, that never bothered me too much. It still tasted great! It had the perfect amount of toppings! If I wanted more bell peppers or tomatoes, I would've ordered a ...

  13. Best Pizza on the Peninsula
Amici's is a great family restaurant, they serve fabulous thin-crust pizzas cooked to order in their wood-fired oven. In addition, they have pastas, salads, and sandwiches.

  14. Delicious Pizzeria
This is our favorite pizza place by far! They serve Italian style pizza (thin crust and not too heavy onthe toppings and cheese) that is absolutely delicious. And they deliver free of charge! Try the pollo pizza with marinara sauce.

  15. Ralph should be ashamed
Amici's pizza was by far the worst pizza I have ever had - worse then Pizza Hut. The first time we ordered it based on Ralph Barbierri's rave radio reviews - it was burnt, barely anything on it, and was horrible. We thought that might be a fluke. Another time with out of town friends just back from a trip to China and crazing pizza - I suggested this place. It was again burned, nothing on it, ter...

  16. good pizza
Amicis East Coast have a pretty good variety of pizza. They have a vegetarian pizza with egg plant which I don't find in many places. I also like their other vegetarian pizza, which is just tomatoes and garlic. I would skip their salads though. It is just really really boring.

  17. Good pizzas
These are the thin crust style pizzas. I usually prefer thick crust, but if I'm force to go with my thin crust preferring friends, this is a pretty good choice. For simplicity, we like the margherita (basically just red sauce and cheese). There is also a roasted eggplant pizza. Avoid the green salad here, though. They barely chop things up, so it's just a bunch of big clunky veggies on a pla...

  19. $20.00 pizza with almost no chicken!
I was very disappointed with Amici's. We ordered a medium pizza ($20.00) on the thinnest of crusts, two pasta dishes ($30.00), a small pizza (for one child). It was expensive - especially since all four of us left hungry. The thinner-crust pizzas are fine as long as they have adequate toppings. The pizza they brought out had tomato sauce, a smattering of cheese, and maybe eight thin strips of ...

  27. Closest thing to Italian Pizza
Wife's family is from Tuscany, and the pizza there is wonderful. Amici's is the closest thing to that pizza that we have found here in CA. Light, think crust, not overloaded with crappy toppings, and fresh! We love this place, either in Mt. View or Redwood Shores.

  29. amici's amore
I finally found the ultimately thin crust, which is crisp without being too dry. A friend whose epicurean knowledge is usually trustworthy suggested the Pesto pizza. Momma mia, was I disappointed: no discernable garlic, nor basil for that matter; in fact, the topping seemed a lot like parsley moistened with olive oil, and not even an EVO vlariety. A side of tomato sauce was also flavorless. In...

  31. THIN IS IN
I grew up in Pittsburgh where Pizza is a gourmet food... I mean the best in the world comes from all the mom and pop resturants. I detest chain store pizza. When I came to California I had pizza withdrawal until I went to Amicis. I think the right words to describe Amicis is flavor intensity. More flavour, less filling. I love it for lunch. The meatball topping is to die for. Just orde...
