Read More On Citysearch bgarcia07 5/21/2010 - Pet BirdsI am curious as to the name of the hospital.....Westgate Pet and Bird Hospital, it sounds as though birds are not "pets" but creatures in need of hospital care.
This is a big turn-off to me. My bird is my pet and wish for him to be referred to as such.
BIG, BIG PROBLEM AS FOR A I AM CONCERNED. Also noted that none of the comments seemed to come from bird owners.

My dog has had a few issues and they have always taken EXCELLENT care of her. I found this clinic on the AAHA website. For those that don't know, clinics that belong to the American Animal Hospital Association are held to a higher standard of veterinary care.

Took both my dogs to these folks for years and even had them put down when they got old. Don't ever take your bird to these people. Echols is gone and so is the truly genuine care I thought they felt about my pet.
