It's hot dogs people!
I love Pink's Hot Dogs. It's perfect for after hours grub. It just completes the night. Yes, there is always a line but that's because it's delicious. They're hot dogs people and they're actually satisfying in a greasy-yummy sort of way. So what if it attracts a lot of tourist? Only the hipsters care really. Planet Hollywood hot dog is my fave - try it.

LA Staple
What can I say? It's an LA staple -- along with Musso and Franks, Mel's, Canter's, etc. The hot dogs are all great, and the variety is exhaustive. My favorite -- the Chicago, spicy Polish. You can't miss.

Hot Dogs for every crave.
If you're feeling nostalgic for New York dogs or Chicago dogs, or any other style dogs this is the place to go. You can also find one of the best chili dogs in town. The only thing about Pink's is that you can't go hungry or you'll starve. The lines are super long and will take about an hour or more to reach the front to order your food.

Best Hot Dogs in the World
They have incredible hot dogs, kind of feel guilty eating them afterwards but they are worth it. There is usually a line but it moves fast and it gives you time to chose from the numerous hot dog selections they have. Horrible food.
I cannot believe this joint continues to win awards year after year. Next time you go, pay attention, they simply open a package of hot dogs and dump them into a steam table. Try it for yourself!
I don't know what the other negative people are thinking but the hotdogs are juicy and flavorful. Pink's offers tons of varieties (including the more healthy turkey dog) and has even branched out into burritos and burgers. Pink's is famous not only because it's been around so long that it's become a L.A. landmark.... it's famous because the food is so darn good!

Great, not the best
I recently moved here from MI and I had to stop by Pink's for the famous hot dog. I went with the traditional chili cheese dog. The dog and bun were great. The chili is not the best, my hometown has a drive-in rootbeer stand that makes their own chili that is better. This is THE BEST hot dog stand in Los Angeles, some may say that the line at times may be a bit long but as soon as you bite down into whatever it is you've ordered you'll forget about all of that. This palce should be a Landmark. If you ever have the chance to come here don't pass it up.

Pink's is a very unique place. The food is very good. Pink's offers about 25 different types of Hot Dogs. I enjoy eating at Pinks, however they are so good that if I did it often I would gain weight. Also many famous people eat at Pink's so bring your camera you never know who might show up.

It's just a hot dog!
It's a good hot dog, a damn good hot dog, but to some it's just not worth the wait. If you do feel like waiting and trying a hot dog that has become an LA staple, by all means go for it. You won't regret it unless you get a rubbery, somewhat stale hot dog but even then it's still pretty good. Get a bacon wrapped hot dog and top it off with chili and onions. Goes down well with a beer.
