I went to Kelly to get my black hair colored lighter. Not only did she tell that she didn't know how to go lighter on black hair, but she also has an attitude. She kept leaving and attending to other clients in between while spending very little time on getting my hair done. Overall the service was pathetic and I'll not recommend VAin to anyone.

Sharon Blythe-Moss is great for color and awesome for cuts, but since she is an artist she always has creative ideas for my hair and I feel like I always have the most original hair in town. Plus, if you want a more conservative look she can make you look and feel good with out the attitude you can get in a few [unmentionable] salons in town. Ask for Sharon!

I went to a couple different stylists at Vain and wasn't happy with the results. They seemed sometimes overwhelmed and not as creative as other stylists I've seen in the past. I would suggest keep looking.

The handsome Shaun Surething has been doing my hair for almost 2 years. Last week I saw they have added a massage therapist to the staff, which rules. Waxing Wendy
Vain seems like a great place. I walked by looking to get my legs waxed. Wendy was personable and was able to take me straight away. She did a great job (no puffy red calves) and the price was reasonable. Although I only had waxing done. the rest of the salon looked fun too. seems like a cool relaxed atmospere to get your hair done too.

After searching Seattle for years to find a great hair salon - I did. The people at Vain are attentive, responsive, creative, and extremely talented.
