My last time dining at Sundance was during a convention where we had a private catered room. Amazingly delicious for a buffet of dinners. But all through the years I've found the food wonderful at Sundance. It's an expensive place, but well worth it if you're loaded, or if someone else is paying!
The condos at sundance are showing their age. Our recent stay included a shower door that would not close, worn toilet seat, small television that would not function correctly, and someone else's dirty socks discarded on the hot tub cover. Not what one would expect for $250. Servers at breakfast were cordial at best.
Though Sundance is not a place you would eat at frequently, if you're on a budge, it is a special treat for a Romantic date or a special occasion.
In the winter, you can sit by a fireplace, looking out on a view of pine trees draped with snow. Wonderful high class lodge atmosphere, and at the same time comfortable and somewhat private.
The food itself is exactly what you would expect...
The comforting atmosphere of being in a lodge, looking out through large windows at the trees surrounding you is quite an experience in itself. Add to that magnificent service and the most amazing food, and you will go home feeling extremely satisfied. My favorite menu item is the pepper steak over mashed potatoes and warm baby spinach, but the salmon is also incredible. Expect to pay a lot, but ...
Sundance is the perfect romantic getaway! The rooms are cozy and the service is fantastic. The restaurants offer the most unique and romantic atmosphere in Utah. Sundance may not be a budget vacation but we always leave feeling like it was money well spent. We've found that the best time to stay at Sundance is in the spring and fall, when they still have a lot of recreational and cultural act...
Sundance is one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever visited. The service is unsurpassed and the food is to die for. Once you have arrived, there is no reason to leave. The activities are endless, hiking, horseback riding, art classes, summer theatre, mountain biking, fly fishing and lots more in the summer. In the winter, the alpine skiing is a well kept secret and the nordic skiing is ...
The cookies and pastries at Sundance are so scrumptious! I have never had a less-than-extraordinary dessert/baked item there, as a matter of fact! When I've been lucky enough to feast at their Sunday Brunch, I find myself filling up on the pastries and breads and having little room left for the other excellent dishes. My respect and admiration to their Pastry Chef!
