The Canyon at Peace Park is an exclusive Treatment Center located in Malibu, California, three miles from the Pacific Ocean. Our premier healing life program is located on a glorious two hundred and forty acre sanctuary recognized for its amazing natural beauty, and as a center for curative and spiritual gatherings. Located in a beautiful natural wooded canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains, The Canyon has a Mediterranean climate, typical for a beachfront community in Southern California. Malibu
Our treatment includes comprehensive evaluations and assessments, medical and psychiatric care, single and combined gender therapy groups, individual therapy, family therapy (monthly 4 day group/weekly individual sessions), art therapy, challenge and adventure therapy (climbing tower), DBT, EMDR (when indicated), spirituality group, food and mood group, body wellness group, health boundaries group, relapse prevention group, anger management group, co-dependency group, trauma/recovery group, Toltec teachings based on the Four Agreements, Native American Sweat Lodge Ceremony, equine therapy, community and in-house 12 Step meetings, and guest lecturers/presenters.
