Pronounced "climate," this Polish bar reclaims a sliver of the East Village on behalf of Eastern Europe.
Nestled in the heart of the East Village on E 7th Street, Klimat (a Slavic term for atmosphere) offers guests the delightfully blended experience of both wine bar, beer garden, and Eastern European bistro, all under one roof. We serve Eastern European and New World wines as well as draft and bottled beers from Europe's best breweries. In addition, we offer authentic dishes from Greece to Poland. Enjoy sipping an Argentinian Malbec and snacking on an assortment of Mediterranean dips in our candle-lit, red leather conversation pit, or saluting your friends with frosty mugs of Czech, Russian, and Polish brews and freshly-made pierogis over our solid wood dining tables. Our atmosphere is uniquely eclectic; bringing together details from 18th century Europe and the classic E. Village.
