- They offer table (bottle) service, hotel rooms upstairs, bring out bottles of champagne with sparklers for birthdays, comp hotel rooms for our biggest spenders like Vegas does.

- The bar menu features both very light stuff, like truffle oil-doused popcorn, and more substantial items, like sliders with frites.

- Your options abound, from occasional spots along Kinzie to pay lots to valet.

- One area near the bar, a little raised and cleared of most furniture, serves as a stage for frequent live music. Expect mostly jazz and DJs.

- Nooks, both large and small, line the perimeter. Semi-private rooms are great for bigger groups, but if it's intimacy you need, they have that, too.
